Walked to this restaurant and wanted to give it a try, but the place was loud, crowded, a bit of a mess, and there was no one at the door to greet us. Â I guess if you want this type of atmosphere, it might work, but not our cup of tea. Â We decided to pass, and went next door to Aladdin's for a great meal instead. Â For great Mexican food with good service and generous drinks, Rancho Alegre is my preference.
Review Source:They have brunch from 11am-4pm on weekends, and a festive selection of Mexican alcoholic beverages. The interior reminds me of being on vacation in Mexico. Â Self-serve free salsa and dip is a nice touch. The variety of $3 tacos are alright - I prefer mine to have a little more kick/flavor though. Overall, i'm down to return. It's cool that Grandview has a chill spot like this amidst its more typical, fancier Italian restaurants.
