Johnnie's Glenn Avenue Grill

I came down to Columbus for a friend's wedding. Before my drive back up to Cleveland I had a couple cold beers at Johnnie's. I wish this bar was 130 miles north. This was the highlight of my trip and showed me the real Columbus.

Trashy place and they always smoke inside.

This is the epitome of a classic neighborhood dive bar. Cheap jukebox, cheap drinks (cash only), free pretzels and peanuts in the kitchen area, chicken coop of a patio. This is a great place to just kick it and catch up, you're not trying to impress anyone in this place, its just good people. This place in hidden among residences, but the awesome neon sign tells you right where you need to be.
