This place was such an epic FAIL. Had to wait 5 minutes at least for a hostess to appear. Then when we asked for a table she said the dining room was closed for repairs. WTF. How do you repair a dining room that's set up with plates and silverware? She also told us ( us both being under 21) that the bar was open downstairs if we'd like a drink. FAIL.
Review Source:Not bad
Went to kdb with a huge party. Â Was impressed with the waitress, she took care of everyone well. Â The food was average though. Â Had garlic wings and cheesehead fries. Â I don't regret it, but wouldn't pick this place over other wing establishments.
The place is very loud as well with a lot of kids running around.
Hmmm....this place has me thinking. I went here last night instead of going to D&B after a buddy told my husband that this place was better in his eyes. Out first stop was the restaurant upstairs. The waiter was slow...so slow I never even saw him except for taking our order and handing us the check. He seemed so shy and would duck his head in & out from the kitchen but never would come over. His other tables all seemed fed up as well. The food was "eh". We had the boom boom shrimp which was tasty but lacked; I could have used some toast to eat it with. The margarita pizza had flavor but due to the huge chunks (eww) of tomatoes ever where the sauce was seriously watery; to the point where you couldn't even pick up a slice.
The game room was our next stop but we stopped at the bar first. It's a nice bar too, lots of seats and very nice bartenders who take very good care of you. Their drinks all have weird names and are a mid priced (around $5-$10 each) but its worth it for happy hour. The drinks were all tasty and loaded with alcohol; you wont find skimpy drinks here! I tried the Orangesickle, blue ice, dragon berry mojito, and a few others. All tasty; personally the dragon berry mojito is way too good to pass up.
The game room is seriously lacking! 1/3 of their games were broken and half of the ones that didn't have broken signs on them didn't work either; guitar freak didn't even have buttons. Everything in this place is old and beat up, apart from the bar. The downstairs area looks like a dark and dingy cave that happens to have a really cool bar. Some games they have- air hockey, basketball, football, skeeball, lots of shooter games, some interactive pilot games, and lots of ticket based games. Dave & Busters has all of these games plus more and their prizes are much much better.
If you're looking for overly loud live music & a cook bar then try it out. If you're going for games don't bother.
Putting the bit*h fest aside, the management here is good and was very quick at trying to make us happy. I recommend the bar here since it's a really cool addition to the place but dining in isn't an option (not for me anyway) and the games (since theyre mostly broken) aren't really an option either. Regardless, we stayed afterwards at their bar until close which says a lot.
