We came here because of the deal on Groupon that got us 2 tickets for $13 which was cheaper than the other haunted houses in Hawaii that we were considering. We also heard of the horrendous wait times at the other ones and did not want to deal with that or dishing out $20 - $35 per person for a fast pass.

Turns out the wait is pretty bad at this one as well. They only let in a group of about 6 at a time and there were at least 100 people in front of us (not to mention the ones behind us who had to wait even more). We got there at around 8:15 pm and waited until 10:20 pm to get in. There were 6 of us and the girls (3) went to sit down while the guys stood in line.

It is located at the main box office by that volcano sculpture. I wish they made more of an attempt to provide a scareir atmosphere. Nothing was done and we could still see all the sports banners and it felt like we were just waiting to get a tour of the stadium. It was also really hot in the area where we had to stand in line. A couple in front of us actually left after standing in line for about 30 min.

I wasn't expecting much from this one but it was slightly better than the Shockhouse at Blaisdell that I went to a couple years ago. If you are someone who doesn't get scared in haunted houses, the best way to have fun in them is to bring someone who is. One of the girls in our group ended up screaming the entire time and even fell a couple times as she could not proceed.

Like Mike said in his previous review, it was a typical style haunted house where they try to popo up and scare you. Some parts weren't too bad: there was a ghost lady that gave birth and was screaming with her bloody baby and a girl crawling on the ground towards us which freaked my friend out.

At other times, it was a bit ridiculous. The girls were moving really slow and I peeked ahead most of the time. I stuck my head into a curtain hiding the next section and saw one of the actors. That person obviously knew I was trying to drag in some terrified girls and did not make an attempt to scare me. I saw him/her and he/she saw me and we stared at each other for a bit and when the girls came it, he/she acted. It was obvious they target the people who were the most easily frightened. During another part, a girl sneaked up behind us and walked alongside our group to scare us but one of my guy friends was like "oh what's up?" "how much do you guys get paid?" She actually broke character and responded, "nothing, we're volunteers." They then carried on a conversation for a little longer.

It was a great experience because of the people I went with but I don't think I'd like to stand in that line again.
