Not too bad. BBQ chicken pizza with onion rings, sister got chicken parm on flatbread.  Fluff and peanut butter pizza couldn't have been tastier and so bad for us!

Pizza is the best.   Never had a bad one there and we have been there a number of times.   Place seems to be under construction and dining room is not fully defined, otherwise 5 stars.

Beers are a decent price at The Heat with good bar staff. if you neek a smoke, the back porch is easily located right next to the bar.  I have been coming to The Heat since it was called JT's BBQ and Seafood, and really the BBQ at JT's was awesome.  Since I am a regular here, the staff has gotten to know me and not give me too much trouble when I come in the door.  But sometimes with new people or people from Mass, the waitstaff can be pretty surly. If your lookin for trouble here you can surely find it,  Back when it was JT's, I can remember the bike weeks of '93 and especially '02, there was great ribs on the grill, there were abundant cans of Budweiser at every table, and occasionally a Hell's Angel or Outlaw biker gang member would come in, get trashed, and cause a big scene.

I was there for the biker fight of summer 2011 and to say the least it was a mess. I remember I ordered a large roni' and a few weisers, next thing I hear "STEP OUT."  The whole joint got quiet, I mean real quiet, and real fast.  I looked up from my slightly undercooked pizza (just how I like it), and at the next table over there was a huge biker, dude was well over 6' tall, grizzled untamed beard, greasy locks flowing down over his leather vest and bare shoulders, and a look of pure rage on his face.  I put down my slice of pizza and watched the show that was about to unfold.

After getting me another budweiser, Betty my waitress tried to stop them  from going on the back deck, bad decision. As I walk outside to smoke (trying to act casual). The Hells Angel plowed outside, the screen door banging loudly against the frame.  He was followed by another biker, a huge dude with tons of tattoos wearing a rebel flag bandana.  As I puffed on my cigarette, the Hell's Angel took out a billy club and started threatening the rival biker gang member.  Needless to say, they were NOT talking about the pizza at The Heat.  Nor were they talking about the wide array of delicious appetizers available at reasonable prices.  They were talking about one thing--who's turf The Heat belonged to.

As the cops pulled up, the Angels were already well out of there, leaving behind a trail of bike smoke in their path, letting the Disciples know they better claim a new pizza joint. Maybe they should try Laconia House or some den well out of the Lakes Region.  To summarize, the food at the Heat is pretty good, the pizza is not bad, but the reason I keep coming back is for the non stop biker fight action, that beats cheap domestic drafts and a few slices of pepperoni any day.  Things really "heat" up around bike week, but the beauty of this hidden gem is the potential for biker fights on any day of the year!
