Not too bad. BBQ chicken pizza with onion rings, sister got chicken parm on flatbread.  Fluff and peanut butter pizza couldn't have been tastier and so bad for us!

Pizza is the best.   Never had a bad one there and we have been there a number of times.   Place seems to be under construction and dining room is not fully defined, otherwise 5 stars.

Beers are a decent price at The Heat with good bar staff. if you neek a smoke, the back porch is easily located right next to the bar.  I have been coming to The Heat since it was called JT's BBQ and Seafood, and really the BBQ at JT's was awesome.  Since I am a regular here, the staff has gotten to know me and not give me too much trouble when I come in the door.  But sometimes with new people or people from Mass, the waitstaff can be pretty surly. If your lookin for trouble here you can surely find it,  Back when it was JT's, I can remember the bike weeks of '93 and especially '02, there was great ribs on the grill, there were abundant cans of Budweiser at every table, and occasionally a Hell's Angel or Outlaw biker gang member would come in, get trashed, and cause a big scene.

I was there for the biker fight of summer 2011 and to say the least it was a mess. I remember I ordered a large roni' and a few weisers, next thing I hear "STEP OUT."  The whole joint got quiet, I mean real quiet, and real fast.  I looked up from my slightly undercooked pizza (just how I like it), and at the next table over there was a huge biker, dude was well over 6' tall, grizzled untamed beard, greasy locks flowing down over his leather vest and bare shoulders, and a look of pure rage on his face.  I put down my slice of pizza and watched the show that was about to unfold.

After getting me another budweiser, Betty my waitress tried to stop them  from going on the back deck, bad decision. As I walk outside to smoke (trying to act casual). The Hells Angel plowed outside, the screen door banging loudly against the frame.  He was followed by another biker, a huge dude with tons of tattoos wearing a rebel flag bandana.  As I puffed on my cigarette, the Hell's Angel took out a billy club and started threatening the rival biker gang member.  Needless to say, they were NOT talking about the pizza at The Heat.  Nor were they talking about the wide array of delicious appetizers available at reasonable prices.  They were talking about one thing--who's turf The Heat belonged to.

As the cops pulled up, the Angels were already well out of there, leaving behind a trail of bike smoke in their path, letting the Disciples know they better claim a new pizza joint. Maybe they should try Laconia House or some den well out of the Lakes Region.  To summarize, the food at the Heat is pretty good, the pizza is not bad, but the reason I keep coming back is for the non stop biker fight action, that beats cheap domestic drafts and a few slices of pepperoni any day.  Things really "heat" up around bike week, but the beauty of this hidden gem is the potential for biker fights on any day of the year!

Make sure you order your pizza well done if you want it slightly undercooked.  My tip is get a slice at fun stop and spend the difference on ski ball. The bartender was nice and friendly but understaffed.

Driving around aimlessly on a mission for somewhere decent to stop off for a cold one... I came across Heat.

The staff in here was a bit rough around the edges.  Not exactly bubbly.  I weaseled up to the bar where it had a sprinkling of regulars.  After my ID was checked for almost an awkward amount of time I ordered a beer.  It is NH and it is a few days after the roaring crowd of the 4th I figure they need to be extra careful.  I asked the bartender where there was any type of evening entertainment.  Bands or karaoke or something.  She said they had it in the other room!  Sweet.

They have Karaoke on Wednesday nights.  Up until 9 it is a family atmosphere with kids night karaoke.  Adults get to attack the mic after 9. There is a stage in the back room which is cool but you have to run your own drinks ect. after nine.  The waitstaff doesn't come over to your tables.  Keep a tab at the bar.  I found that a little odd.

The location is great for after Funspot.  The pizza looked great and they have a big selection.  I didn't get a chance to eat though.  The place is big, comfortable and relaxed.

I came here over the 4th of July weekend with my husband and had some pretty good pizza here.  My only complaint was it seemed slightly undercooked, and I found it odd that the toppings were under the cheese (I like my toppings to get crisp).  Nonetheless we were hungry and Heat hit the spot.  Would definitely come back should we are ever in the area again.

You know, it really doesn't take a lot to make me happy.

A cold beer, a nice hot pizza, and an unpretentious atmosphere... Heat hit 3 for 3.

My wife and I stopped into Heat over the July 4th Weekend (7/2/2011) after a day of go-karts, Funspot and the boardwalk. The dining room was almost empty (however the bar side was anything but) - so we were noticed and seated very quickly by a very upbeat waitress. We placed an order for a simple pepperoni pizza and a couple cold beers. Our drinks arrived very quickly, and our pizza arrived a short time later.

It seemed pretty clear to me that the crust was not some kind of off the shelf product, which i appreciated greatly. The sauce did it's job (i honestly don't recall anything hyper positive or negative about the sauce - as i said, it did it's job). The cheese was cheesey, but the real stand out was the pepperoni (they used some nice thick slices - it was great!).

All but 2 slices were eaten on the spot, the leftovers we took with us for a late snack.

So to recap - good, quick service, cold beer, a decent pizza, and a casual and unpretentious atmosphere. I look forward to re-visiting Heat on any future trips to the area.

So this past weekend, my wife and I decided to get a few pizzas for the family.  Being fans of Giuseppe's in Meredith, we didn't want to drive too far just because we were bringing back the pies for the family.  So first off, we called to ask for take out, immediately, the first sign of trouble we found as the hostess answering the phone said right off the bad "If you want anything else besides pizza, we don't do take out".  Ok... Maybe if this was Santarpios, and good, I could except that... But this isn't.

Next, we pick up the pies, 2 Large pies, 30 dollars...  When we get to the car to check out the pizza, we noticed they weren't large, they weren't cooked well, and they tasted like maybe someone's Harley ran over the pizza from Bike Week.  By the time we get home, we dove into the pizza and were not impressed whatsoever.  The crust wasn't cooked long enough, the sauce was non-existent and there was no flavor at all.  If I had a choice to eat here or a frozen pizza from the grocery store, I would take the frozen pizza any day.  If you want good pizza, drive the extra 5 miles to Meredith, it's well worth it!

This was the worst pizza I have had in a long time and the bathrooms were filthy.  Dont go to this place.

We really like the pizza here.  I heard that everything is made from scratch and that many of the ingredients are specially brought it...I really like the "heat" pizza...prosciutto, chicken, and a perfect blend of spicy sauce....I heard the white pizza is also fantastic...kid friendly too!

Riding back through Weirs Beach, I made a stop at Heat Restaurant located across the street from Funspot since I saw a sign outside for Wood-Fired Pizza. I believe this used to be a BBQ place.

Anyways I go inside and greeted by the staff and given a takeout menu. The atmosphere here is a typical roadhouse with the dining room to the right and the bar area to the left.  The menu offers a variety of pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, appetizers, salads, ribeye, lasagna, fish & chips, and half rack of ribs. Some pizzas offered include Shrimp Pesto, Steak & Cheese, BBQ Chicken, HOG, Eggplant, and Crab Rangoon. Kids menu is available including pb & j and pb & fluff pizzas. Happy hour M-F (4-6) including half price appetizers and drink specials.

I go into the bar and order an 11" Taco Pizza ($12.95 plus tax) for takeout. The bartender offers a drink, so I ask for an ice water (I can't have alcohol on the job). I watch some golf on the flatscreen TVs in the bar. The pizza was ready in about 10 minutes. The Taco Pizza was topped with melted cheese, lettuce, tomato, and chunks of seasoned ground beef, not piled on though. The crust was light and soft and chewy.

Overall, the pizza was pretty decent and the bartender was thoughtful in offering a cold drink on a muggy day, though I was just getting takeout only to bring back to the field office.
