The Heights Bar and Grill

I was so excited to go here for St. Patrick's Day but as soon as I opened the door I was disappointed. The music was way too loud, the food was horrible. We ordered the corned beef and cabbage. Who messes up boiling meat and cabbag? I asked for an amaretto and orange juice and the"orange juice" was some kind of powered drink! The waitress said that everyone complains about it. My experience here was horrible!

I came here based on yelp reviews. The place has an unpretentious feel with the  main bar in the center and high top tables bordering the perimeters. We ordered the chicken quesadillas,  turkey burger and chipotle chicken wrap served with fries. The service was pleasant yet inconsistent. In a bar with only one other table I was unsure of what the wait was about. When our app finally came though it was quite tasty. I didn't want to eat the entire thing but the lag in service ensured that I did. I thought the turkey burger would have been great yet it was overcooked, and the fries were natural. The chipotle wrap was perfect though. If I was in area I'd hit up again but not go out of my way.

This is what you picture when you think of a Pub. Dark wood, large square bar dominating the room but plenty of tables around the walls so you can have some privacy but be part of the crowd. Happy hour on a Monday had $3 bottles of Coors and $2 Yeung's. Hamburgers were great as were the fries. If you are ever in the area it is worth a try.
