A Hidden Vine

Attended a wine tasting last Friday night at a Hidden Vine.  The tasting included Peju Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, Butternut Chardonnay, Sequoia Grove Chardonnay and Cakebread Chardonnay.  We enjoyed all wines as well as the meat/cheese plate.  The standout wine for me was the Sequoia Grove which I hope to find at my home Total Wine in Henderson, NV. The staff was friendly including the host of the tasting and the owner who gave me a sample of Pinot Noir he was suggesting.  This swayed me to buy a bottle of wine to try later...Ancient Peaks Zinfandel.  I am a fan.

My girlfriend and I went into this place with some friends of ours for the very first time last weekend and we had a terrific time! We sat with some friendly people and had great wine and great conversation for hours!

The two gents working that night - Ken and Marty - who also happen to be the owners, were great guys with a ton of knowledge on just about everything!

We enjoyed it so much, we've decided that this place is going to be one of our regular date nights. Come and meet us there! You'll be glad you did!!

We just discovered this place- recently renamed the Hidden Vine.  We talked with the very friendly owner who told us he purchased this business in the last couple of months and it really is a hidden gem.  Fabulous lake views of the sunset from the outdoor patio, great wine selections and we had a really delicious assortment of bread, meat and cheeses.  We will definitely be going back!
