The little town of Bloomfield really got lucky when this little establishment opened there, just over twenty years ago, in what had always been some version of a dry goods store. Â The ambience here beats all of the other Hometown Pizza locations because of this. Â It was built into the place, and they were delicate in their remodel to accommodate a restaurant. Â Three levels of Victorian charm without the corniness that so many places embrace. Â The food is excellent, anything that's ordered. Â Best pizza anywhere, hands down. Â I live in Los Angeles and travel extensively. Â Still, I've never had better. Â If you're visiting Bardstown, it's so worth the 12 mile, 12 minute drive to Bloomfield and Hometown Pizza.
