Ive always wanted to stop into this place to see what it was like because everyone said it was "underground". That sounded cool. So yes it's underground, which was cool but once you get to the bottom it wasn't that great. There is a pool table in the back and just a bunch of chairs everywhere; some of the chairs are even plastic.... Anyways they could have done a lot better of a job with the atmosphere. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because it's open until 3 and 4 in the morning which is cool if you want some place to chill after a bar or club.
Review Source:This was the first Hookah place I ever went to and it was defiantly an awesome experience! From the outside it looks sort of sketchy, next to a out of business Blockbuster, but once you go down the stairs and enter, its a whole new vibe. During the week when I've gone, they play current movies and its a real relaxing environment (great place to study/socialize). The couches are super comfortable. During the weekends, they play great music and its a more up-beat fun environment and a fun place to go on a Saturday night with your friends. On request you can get a deck of cards and play some poker, or go play some pool on their pool table. The staff that work there are awesome and have always been friendly to me and my friends. The hookah is great as well. Its not too far from CSUN and the 118 freeway, so its not a pain to get to. There is a 24hours open Subway a 2 minute walk from The Source in case you wanna grab a bit to eat. I would recommend it to anyone
