This was the first time I had ever been to a hooters and I wasn't very impressed. I ordered the fish and chips and while the fish pieces were large, they were extremely greasy and I couldn't eat half of it because it made me feel queasy. Afterwards I was told I should have gone for the hot wings... Sadly, I won't be back to test out that theory.
Review Source:I havnt been to a Hooters location in a few years but was very near this location around dinner and decided to drop in. I used to frequent the Gulfport location but stopped going because of the awfull service.
This beachfront location has an open air patio which we didnt use. Their seemed to be alot of customers there just to drink making for a bar like atmosphere. I settled on my favorite fish sandwich and my partner ordered a Cheese Quesadillas. Our server was nice but I couldnt help but notice that she didnt write our orders down which came back on her cause she got our order wrong. Our server who was a trainee brought out a Chicken instead of Cheese Quesadilla and normally I wouldnt mind but my partner takes Lent seriously so it was sent back. When It was returned my partner noticed alot less cheese and was dissapointed. I also was dissapointed in my fish sandwich which was my favorite at the Gulfport location. I'm not sure if they changed the fish or not but I remember the fish tasting much firmer and thicker.
All in all I would put Hooters one step above some of the awfull bar food I've experienced recently, just wish I knew what happened to my favorite fish sandwich.
This is the only hooters I really go to as it is very convenient to my sister's house but may have to try a different location. Last time I was here the service was quicker but this time (last night) it was dreadfully slow. It took us 40 mins to get our food and all we ordered were wings. Food is ok. Nothing great by any stretch. Would I go here again? Probably. I'm not picky or impatient. I'm just warning those that are impatient that service here is slow if you go on a saturday.
Review Source:Been here a couple times. Service was slow one night but spot on another. TV's are always very loud even when there is NOT a game on. I know it's Hooters but I don't need to hear a sports interview at a volume so loud that I can't hear the person next me. Food is good. Wings are awesome. Kids menu is good, the standard.
Review Source:Nothing upsets me more then hearing "we are out of that"
Ugh, never a good way to start off. Â Honestly unless it's some ingredient that you can't get anywhere local then those words should never be spoken. Â
Margaritas, how can a place like Hooters be out of Margarita mix?? Â Mind you they were able to make a Key Lime martini which guess what is mixed in there, frozen concentrated margarita mix.
So needless to say when starting out this way it just doesn't seem to get better. Â We cut our losses ordered a quick app and high tailed it out.
Hooters in Gulfport is the way to go, so I'm with Remy on this one!
So today we went to watch part of the Steelers game at Hooters. Â But instead of hitting the Gulfport one, we decided to try our hand at the new one in Biloxi.
We ordered our usual Roasted Oysters (**** stars), Alaskan King Crab (** stars) and beer. Â The Oysters here were really good, they came out steaming hot and the butter was very hot.
The service was slower than we are used to and the girls, well it felt like the manager of this one raided the local high school girls for waitresses. Â Now don't get me wrong, they were cute. Â but I prefer to get served by girls that are not young enough to be my daughter.
Overall it was ok and with time I believe they will work the kinks out. Â For now I am going to stick with what I know out in Gulfport!!!!
