Beer is reasonably priced. Bone-out wings are rather dry and disappointing. I've yet to try the bone-in wings but they may help the food menu. Service is below average. Most waitresses look unhappy and tend to sit and converse with regulars instead of working their tables.

I've only been to Hooter's a few times and I'll just start by saying that I'm pretty much indifferent to their "chicks in little shorts with their tatas hanging out" gimmick. I mean, I like pretty girls as much as the next straight girl, but I'm not in the Hooter's target demographic. The girls at this location didn't look like busted methheads so that's a plus. They were all very nice to me and not exceptionally nice to my boyfriend. Well done, gals. The man and I ordered a big plate of medium regular wings and they were sooooo good. I guess I really do go to Hooter's for the wings. The skillet tot thing we ordered with the wings was so-so, but the mountain of delicious wings more than made up for that. The man was happy watching sports on the million TV's they have all over every wall, and I was happy chowing down. Not bad, Hooter's. I'm a fan.

So disappointed!! We had planned since Thursday that we would go as a group to Hooters to watch the 2 games we had been looking forward to, we walk in to what seemed to be a Nebraska bar due to the 12 TVs out of 20 set on the Nebraska/ Ohio State game.  There were about 6 Nebraska fans in the restaurant.  This is a restaurant in Kansas City? Right? Why was there only 2 TVs with the Missouri game? We were seated in a section with a loud, out of control fan which made the situation worse.  We moved to another table so we could hear ourselves think.  We are all for getting rowdy and watching football BUT there was a definite line that was crossed.  Everyone in his section was shaking there heads and rolling their eyes due to his antics.  We asked 4 times to have just 1 TV changed to the Missouri game and if not the Missouri game at least the Notre Dame game.  Not one waitress would do this for us.  All while the most obnoxious group in the restaurant had 12 TVs of the Nebraska game.  When our request was repeatedly ignored we asked for the check halfway through our meal and left.  We will not be returning.

This is a fairly new HooHoo's right across from the Kansas Speedway and Hollywood Casino. I just went on race weekend, and yes it was busy but was well worth the stop. The girls were on top of their game and even had calendar signing from girls around the country that were in the 2013 calendar. Overall decent hooters if you enjoy their brand and lifestyle.

I know one doesn't necessarily come here for the food. But I honestly did expect it to be a lot better than it was. It was some of the least impressive bar food I've ever had. (And I love bar food. But this just didn't cut it.) I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich, and somehow ended up with something far different than that.

The waitress (a trainee) tried hard, but clearly has a ways to go before getting the service thing down. So I suppose is you're coming for the scenery, then okay. But the food will likely be a letdown.
