Mixed emotions here, not a bad place, like the variety and flavor of the food especially the Cob salad and Sliders but they are very inconsistent as far as portion size and service. Â I think the girls work hard but really don't get any help or guidance from management. Â The kitchen help hurts the bottom line with wrong orders, slow delivery, no portion consistency. Â Love the E- club with its high value coupons. Â Just wish they turn the music down a bit maybe it would help get the orders right.
Review Source:I'm not even remotely trying to be mean but the Hooters' girls that work here are not on par with some of the other locations I've had the *ahem* pleasure of dining at. I go to Hooters for the wings but the overly friendly eye candy shouldn't be overlooked either. This spot needs an overhaul, jmo.
The service on my table was just average. She didn't seem anymore happy about being there than me but she did her job at the most basic level.
Now to the wings. I've been craving Hooter's wings for weeks; haven't had them in forever. Sadly, I was disappointed. They were fried entirely too hard and took too long to come out. Â
Won't venture into this one again...my eyes cant take the view and I'd like to keep all my teeth in tact.
I'm not sure what went wrong with this place. I would frequent this place quite a bit since the food , drinks , and service were great. The last 3 times have just gone downhill though. My wings were with  no exaggeration ice cold so I sent them back reluctantly and I got back nice and hot on top of the stack with ice cold at the bottom. I'm not sure I will be going back soon , unless its just for drinks and the entertainment.
Review Source:Do you really have to give it one star? Either way... This fanchise used to be good. The waitress (can you really be called that if you clueless at your job) sucks and the food takes for ever to reach the table. How does it take 1h to get food to the table when the restaurant is only half full? Could that be why it's only half full? I for one will never be back. Twin Peeks here I come....
Review Source:I'm not sure which Hooter's Scott D. goes to where there is a hostess but I've never seen one. Â Almost every one I go to is open seating, I don't even wait anymore to be told.
The wings are just awesome. Â Naked, breaded, whatever, they're rockin'. Â The only downside about the place is that they don't offer them hot enough! Â Bentley is probably the equivalent of Buffalo Wild Wing's "hot" and Wild Wing Cafe's "Chernobyl". Â I can go hotter! Â I hear the one in Clear Lake has a flavor called "Elvis" which according to quite a few people I know that love hot stuff say it is killer hot.
I'd like to see more sauce selection and the fact that Daytona Beach is listed under Bentley is a little deceiving since Daytona isn't even spicy but what can ya do?
One of the Hooter's Calendar girls works at this location as well, as a bartender if I'm not mistaken, so that's pretty cool.
They just started up a promotion for Boneless Wednesdays where you get a bunch of boneless wings in whatever sauce you want for something like $6.00 and it includes a side of fries. Â GREAT deal!
I would definitely, and have, recommend this Hooter's location.
It was election night and some friends and myself wanted to go somewhere to watch the Rockets game. Â So we went to the Hooter's in Katy.
I've gone to this place before and it was always crowded. Â This time, we actually found seats. Â I still don't undersand though how managers of bars or restaurants do not have the tvs ready for local games. Â We had to ask if it was possible to get the Rockets game on TV. Â Of course they had no choice, but to put it on.
We ordered our food and drinks. Â Mine was 10 Hot and a lemonaid. Â One of my friends orderd some cheese sticks and they came out pretty quick. Â Then our food came.
Our server was cute and friendly. She always checked up on us. Â She even asked us if we wanted to buy a calendar -- without pressuring us or being pushy. Â I told her I was broke and we are going through a recession.
Throughout the evening, we stayed for the whole game and we were watching the elections.
"Obama Is The Next President of the United States."
We stayed through all this without feeling like we had to leave. Â I am sure if it was packed inside, it would be a different story.
Managers need to realize what local games will be shown on tv.
For starters it was a Monday at lunch that myself and a friend stopped in. I will add this was not our first choice, but our first place was closed, who closes on a Monday?
Upon entering there was no hostess and there is always a hostess at the other Hooters that I have been at. It was a girl yelling across the room that it was open sitting and it went down hill quickly after that.
So picking a table we sat down only to find that the table was soaking wet. Apparently it had recently been washed, but not dried. Yucko!
The waitress was new, but very friendly and helpful and knew the menu. We order the fried pickles, a steak sandwich and 20pc. wings.
The pickles came and they were excellent I highly recommend them you won't go wrong. But the rest of the food was disappointing.
The sandwich was tough and was an inferior cut of meat. The wings, where do I start. I mean this is there bread and butter item and you would expect them to be top notch, but they were not. First, they where not the right order for hotness, but I think this was the new waitress, but the grease and the cold wings was the cook. I am not lying about the 14" of grease in the bottom of the plate that the wings came on. And by the time I was finished eating the grease was solidifying into one large gooey clump of lard. It was disgusting to say the least.
Stay clear of this place until the cook learns his job or is fired. Just plain awful food.
