Went there with 3 other buds for drinks and a bite to eat after work...
Pros: Food was great. Â Atmosphere was great. Waitress (Mallory) was fantastic! When you walk in, someone is there to greet you and take you to your seat without a wait.
Cons: It was a little warm in there, but they cranked up the AC at our request. Â It was the 1st very warm day of the year and untimely for early April, so I don't expect the internal temperature to be an issue moving forward at all in the future...
Service: Our waitress Mallory was excellent, kind, and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks...as well as informing us about the specials they had going on and prompt with serving us.
Notes: There was a big party going on toward the other side of the bar and our waitress (Mallory) made sure our drinks, appetizers, then food were served at a normal time even though the chefs, bartenders, and others were focused on tending to the larger party (understandable). Â She did an outstanding job and so did the others helping her in the back.
Personal Notes: I am a fan of the wings (obviously), quesadillas, and any burger they make there. Â The fried pickles are ok, but there are other very tasty options to choose on their newly revised menus.
Probably the best Hooters in the Northern NJ area...
I was just there for dinner a few hours ago and the service was good. Â As soon as I walked in, a hostess greeted me and a friend and walked us to a table and took our orders right away. Â The orders came out quickly and timely, the servers are courteous, polite and well trained just the way its supposed to be. Â
Its not as big of a place compared to other Hooters restaurants but the service is so much better than the Hackensack location, where you have to ask for service.
Definitely would visit again.  Oh and did I mention a manager walked over to ask how we were doing, that was considerate.
Did a pick up order the other day before a Jets game, and my god I'm glad I didn't stay. Don't get me wrong, I'm a man who likes beer, sports, and women but this place just skeeves me out. First of all the amount of guys over forty five breathing out of there nose while they stare at the waitresses makes me think I'm at a strip club. Second the bathroom here is always disgusting, and I mean one of the worse I have ever seen in my entire life. I have of course stayed here during lunch to eat with a friend and have a few drinks, and its much more sane. The girls working here are without a doubt hard workers, and I'm sure put up with an ungodly amount of shenanigans from customers. The one thing I was surprised with that I had was the cheeseburger, which was out of this world.
Review Source:$5/10 wings...$2 domestic draughts every Thursday, Sunday, and Monday. Â I'm thinking it's a promotion that lasts only as long as there are NFL games on those days. Â This place has been here for years. Â About 10 years ago, I knew one of the managers and was therefore a frequent visitor.
Not so much now.
The atmosphere is still great for game days/nights. Â Parking can get tight, but there are spots in front of the hotel next door. Â Service is hit and miss as with any Hooters. Â The waitresses will pay more attention to tables that pay more attention to them. Â It's part of the tip game, I get it, but I'm also over it.
My friend and I had to repeat our orders twice because our server had forgot to check back on us in a timely manner. Â She had a 6 table section, but each table was fairly complacent. Â So I'm not sure what the problem was with getting our order right. Â Things happen, I get it.
But I'm also over it...
Ironically, being the first girl (I think?) to review this location, I had a great time here and loved the place! Really I was just craving some wings on the way back from the Woodbury Outlets and asked my cousin if there was a Hooters nearby so I could get some lemon pepper wings. Just our luck, it was right on the way home so we made the pit stop. I didn't see lemon pepper flavored wings on the menu at all, but thank god I asked the waitress because she said it wasn't listed but they had 'em here. My cousin and boyfriend convinced me to have a couple of drinks so I got two rounds of Weed n Lemonade which was delicious, easy to drink and more than enough for a lightweight like me to get saucy. I catalog each drink I encounter with hardly discernable tasting liquor but good tipsy effect. To top it off they had the option of adding a half pound of shrimp and dipping butter to the order for a mere $6 so I ate like a fat happy pig.
Yes, some of the girls do look a little young and underdeveloped here, but I didn't come for the T and A anyway, and our waitress was super sweet without being extra about it, not just doing it for a good tip. This was my second Hooters experience and I think I'm a fan now.
Where's the hooters???? I'm in a Hooters but I see no hooters!!!! I only see average and below looking college girls that are tired and barely are around to serve you. Only time they are fast is when they are giving you your bill or when they flirt with you for 5mins to try and earn their tips.
Pro:
- Great chicken, great curly fries and potato tots.
- $5 selected hard liquor drinks, $.99 draft beers all day.
- Many flat screen TVs with every game playing.
Con:
- Girls look nothing like the advertising.
- Service is terrible.
- They charge for everything. Blue ranch? Ok $.69. Extra sour cream? Ok $.69.
- Restroom always dirty.
As the previous reviewer mentions, this is definitely not the place where you go in thinking just because the hot waitresses sits and chats with you that she is even remotely interested in you... Well she is, interested in a big fat tip that is. With that being said this is a great place to hang out with your friends, kill a pitcher or two , enjoy the wings and watch a game on the tube. The wings here are way better that the wings served at the hooters on Route 4 in Hackensack for some reason, and better eye candy I might add, but I digress. They have daily specials that range from 10 cent wings to pitcher specials which I cannot recall at the moment. One thing that stinks about the place is the parking during big games and weekends which is understandable, although if you don't mind walking a bit you can always park in the parking lot next to the adjacent hotel. Oh, and I don't recommend the "Daytona(sp?) wings" which one waitress made me try but I didn't like as they were too sweet for my taste.
Review Source:i will gladly be the first to review this establishment. Â it's a hooters, the food is usually good, and i don't go here to have smoke blown up my ass by the servers. Â ive eaten here around 30 times, and more so than not it's pretty good. Â a culinary masterpiece it is not....a good enough place to drink eat and be merry, yes!! Â do it up and you won't be dissapointed....unless you think your gonna get laid!!
