I have been eating here for almost two years and have no complaints. When I have family come to town or just want to go for dinner with friends this is my go-to place. The lunch special is roughly $10 per person for two rolls and a drink/salad/soup. It's one of the best priced sushi places in the area. The place has a steady flow of people, but never enough to fill it, so there is always a place to sit. There is only one person making the rolls so it's best to go before or after a main meal, otherwise it's a 30-45 minute wait for everything. I'm holding back on that 5th star because I received a bit of attitude when I asked for the lunch menu 30 minutes after lunch ended when the place was empty. Being a long time, weekly costumer I expected a little grace period or at least just tell me lunch was over and not to complain about it. That, however, is my only negative experience and was not enough to diminish the quality of food that I go there for.
Review Source:I've been working myself through everythin on the menu and have realized that Gous besides having the best sushi/sashimi around, he also has the best ginger citrus salad dressing for his house Salad and the best pork fried gyoza I have ever tried in my life. The size / crispyness/ meat ratio of this gyoza is simply perfect. The ginger dressing and its exquisite color and taste will provide an instant wow factor to and for ur palate. The gyoza will leave you wondering if you want to order them again on the same visit. Â Love this place. It's an all around heck of a sushi joint!
Review Source:Surprisingly fresh sushi, super prices, and really warm owners. Â I hope this place stays in business. Â Â Very small dining room, and usually just a few folks eating there - mostly takeout. Â However, I see more and more at lunch. Â Â
They do need something else on TV at the Sushi Bar for the solo diners at lunchtime - how about CNBC or ESPN?
