Esty Street

Esty is just not what it was last year or a few yrs back.  I guess there's a new chef there.  This was my favorite restaurant in the area.  Now, instead, I try others and don't come back here. IT's a sad thing. I hope Esty gets back to being the best around soon.  The service and ambiance is still awesome!

I have got to be honest, I was very disappointed by this place. I had high hopes given some of the reviews but I walked out of there thinking never again. 5 people and $500 of disappointment. Service was ok, desserts were good but the starters and entrees were not worth the money. Overpriced and overrated.

Our reservation was for a Sunday Brunch. The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and well-timed. The décor needs a little updating; sort of a 1980's old world look....The food was disappointing, mainly because they did not cook our food as we ordered. My steak was well done, and my 8 year old grandson's hamburger was not rare. The server was sorry and tried to correct if by bringing us a beet appetizer on the house. Still I think the food was terribly over priced for what we received.
