Bella Campania

We have been eating here for quite some time, so now it's time to fess up. This is a friendly local pizza and Italian restaurant - one of a dozen within 5 miles of each other.  Bella Campania is one of the better for excellent pizza, plentiful entrees at very reasonable prices with great specials and special deals.  It is a BYOB so that adds to its appeal to us. Staff is accommodating and friendly. Wife's white pizza was exceptional.  Mussels were good and pasta was done as requested with lots of seafood and sauce.  The only negatives were a very noisy crowd and slightly slower service than normal for an unusually busy evening. This is one of our "go to" restaurants and we can get a good meal at a reasonable price so it is on our list of regular places to eat.

I went to this place once before for dinner with my family.  Small but relatively comfy little place, service as I recall was decent and the tilapia I had gotten was very good.  I had no complaints at the time.

Fast forward to today.  I decided to pick up lunch there for my better half and myself.  I order two grilled chicken wraps.  Bear in mind these wraps were $8.50/ea, so I'm expecting something impressive now because this is definitely above average pricing.  The wrap was advertised with sun-dried tomato and mozzerella.  I pick up the wraps from the friendly man at the counter there and proceed to have lunch with my bf.  I was disappointed at first sight.  Firstly, they pathetically wrapped these wraps..they were half-assed put together as if they didn't even try.  Second, their idea of making it "look good" was to garnish the container with ten tons of lettuce and one pathetic little slice of tomato (which would have been better had they put it IN my wrap!  No cole slaw, no pickle, no chips, nothing.  The chicken was completely dry, like it had be pre-cooked the night before and then nuked for a minute, then left to become lukewarm by the time I got there to pick it up.  A pathetic little amount of lettuce, and a very slight helping of sun-dried tomato and mozzerella, which was not of the best quality.  No seasoning, no sauce or condiment of any kind shape or form, nothing.  Totally and completely bland.  Topped of with a little plastic container of balsamic.   A thoroughly unimpressive wrap, for an extravagant amount of money.  What a waste.

I have ordered take-out from this restaurant several times, and have found it to be some of the best Italian food in the area.  Everything seems very, very fresh and extremely flavorful.  Delivery is fast and courteous drivers.  

I have not ever been inside the restaurant, so I can not speak about the wait staff or decor, but I will definitely order from again and again!
