Hooters

Since being a Hooters girl is a self-selecting profession, you tend to get girls who know the score and enjoy the work.  Their job isn't to deliver drinks, it's to be nice.  They usually are very nice.  They are nice to men.   They are nice to women.  They are nice to babies, old people, and stray animals.  People think Hooters is about sex and chicken wings.  It isn't.  It's about being nice and chicken wings.

What can I say? I just love this place. Between the one in Novi and the one in Taylor, I like this place best.

The restaurant is large, an area around the bar, and a large area in the back. I try to sit in the former area, it's much nicer. You can also play Trivia on some of the screens using your iPhone. I really like the atmosphere.

The staff is super friendly, although not as attentive as in Hooters restaurants in other cities. When I'm alone, I like it when one of the waitresses sits down an we chat (except when I'm eating!). This is rare now. I was there during the end of lunchtime when the place emptied quickly, still no one sat down. Oh well.

But the main reason to go is the food. I had the tater tots and wings, both of which were delicious! So was the key lime pie desert. So I'll probably be back when I get a craving for wings again...

I was in town to visit a friend, so we stopped at Hooters.  Seemed like a good idea at the time.  About 17 hours later, it was the 6th worst decision of my life.  I spent a lot of time getting to know the ins and outs of my friend's apartment bathroom, if you know what I mean.  And, it's not due to a case of IBS.  So my FIRM recommendation is that you only order something off the menu that is cooked in such a way that no earthly virus, bacteria, or animal can survive.  This will prevent you from unwillingly emptying your stomach and colon cavities about a day later.
For the record, I had a new salad on the menu, which looked tasty in the menu.  Bad choice.
If you wonder why I give it 2 stars instead of negative-3, well it is because there are a variety of young ladies working here that seem friendly enough, and I'm sure it wasn't their fault I got sick.
