Great little bar! Â My boyfriend an I met here on a first date a year and a half ago, and try and get back here as often as we can. Â Les is one of the bartenders there and he remembers our names and what we drink. I love that, he's genuinely the nicest bartender I've ever encountered anywhere. Â Makes darn good cocktails too. Â
I can really only rate the fried bologna sandwiches, it's the only thing we ever order here. Â So damn good! Â As a kid, fried bologna was in regular rotation for dinner at my house. You either love it or hate it. Â And I love it. Thick slice of bologna fried up with grilled onion and mustard on grilled rye. Â Ahhh, heaven! Â You can have it your way too...cheese, mayo, raw onion, toasted bread instead if grilled. Â I want one right now!
So do yourself a favor, go to the Inn Place and get a fried bologna sandwich. Â Les by far makes them the best!
A small, neighborhood bar with good food, decent drinks, and a overall good crowd. This is a comfortable little dive bar to attend if you want to avoid the bar scene in downtown Royal Oak. The beer tap selection is pretty limited, but small selection is usually decent.
I have probably been here 5 times and will continue to go back when looking for a good place to chill out and have a drink and bite to eat.
Clean enough to take your parents, but still cool enough that a hipster might venture in.
