HopCat

Excellent beer selection.  Relaxing pub atmosphere and the Burgers are amazing!  The fries are called "Crack Fries"  and they live up to their name.  They are the tastiest and most addictive fries I've ever eaten.  If you like beer and burgers, HopCat is your place!

I LOVE THIS PLACE.  50 drafts, 150 bottles, readonably priced, tasty food, fun wait staff, NO MONITORS.  So.  Damned.  Cool.  My ONLY gripe ain't their fault.  Ionia has terrible parking...  Otheriwse?  I'd move in, if they'd let me :)

BeerAdvocate has voted HopCat the #1 BrewPub in the US for 2013. I can see why because this place makes me want to move to Grand Rapids. HopCat is cool without even trying. Awesome beer selection and unique menu items. We went for two of their  signature dishes, the Bar Zee Burger (Applewood smoked bacon, jalapenos & Michele's beerbar cheese spread on brioche bun) and the Grand Royale (House made sloppy Joseph, jalapenos, a full order of Crack Fries, beer cheese sauce on a brioche bun, and more beer cheese sauce on top!). I also had one of their house beers. It was the Handy Ranch Man which was a solid brew. Seemed like they were out of quite a few because of the 4th of July Holiday. Would highly recommend this BrewPub!
