Pros: Great place if you want to just chill on some couches smoke hookah and watch sports. Very cheap compared to most hookah lounges. Music is chill usually ranging from hip hop to edm. Workers are chill too.
Cons: No alcohol. Gets a bit cold inside on cold days since doors are always open. No food served either. You may be able to byob not sure.
Id deff go back if I just wanna go chill with some buddies.
Opens at 7:30pm. Thought this place was closed for a second then saw people setting up inside.
I came here with a few friends to enjoy a bowl of hookah for the night and had the house mix. It was actually really good and would recommend it this mix if you come here. The hookahs themselves aren't all that great though, instead of using grommets for the hoses they were using paper... so the seal would come loose every once in a while. Service was good though, they kept coming around and asking if everything was good with the bowl.
The ambiance of the place was OK, nothing special.
This place is getting a 3 star mostly for the price. 1 bowl was $20, which I think is on the pricey side when you take into account that it was just an average hookah lounge with nothing special going on. I probably wouldn't come back to this place and try somewhere else.
I love this place! The best hookah I've had yet. The service is great too. The guy continuously comes around and asks how things are going. If your hookah is starting to burn, he'll fix it, etc. It's very dark and actually way louder than I thought it would be. The only reason I didn't rate it five stars is because of how loud it is. But some people like that sort of thing:D The people are very friendly and if you want to go watch music videos and listen to hip pop music as you smoke an awesome hookah, this is the place to go.
Review Source:This is my new favorite hookah spot. Â The service is great and the hookah is amazing. Â I'm quite picky with my hookah I always ask for 90% mint and sprinkle of whatever else I get. Â First time I visited Hot Box Cafe I told them exactly what I wanted and when I got it wasn't minty enough for me so I asked if they could repack the bowl. Â They gladly did and it was perfect lol I guess what I really want is 99% mint and 1% of something random. Â The point is this is probably the only place that has customized my order to the way I WANT/LIKE it and that's rare, usually at other hookah spots they never get it right and I leave unsatisfied. Another cool thing about this place is that they always have hookah specials especially on game days. Â The only downside to this place is that they don't serve food, but you can bring your own so that's kind of cool. Â I'm a regular and definitely will be coming back :)
