I am a regular here for 2 reasons: #1 the drinks are cheap, making it easy to get drunk enough to get my Michael Jackson on. #2 the bouncer/bartenders are always super chill, and recognize me after only a few visits so i feel like i am welcome.
HOWEVER: last night (it was a thursday) i went out there fairly early, and only got to sing ONE TIME in 3.5 HOURS. It was a DJ i do not recognize, and obviously he did not feel that it was important to oblige me with a chance to sing (even after 2 requests and 3 reminders). He did, however, feel that some young girls dressed in as little as possible deserved the chance to get up there, MULTIPLE TIMES. He lied to my face saying i was up next, only to slide a couple of his friends on stage ahead of me. I felt extremely slighted being skipped over so many times, and it was BY FAR the worst experience i have ever had at the Good Nite. I sincerely hope to never see that DJ last night again, as i will most certainly turn around and take my business elsewhere if i see him up front next time i go in.
GREAT BAR! ALWAYS A GOOD NITE, BUT LAST NIGHT'S DJ NEEDS TO GO BACK TO HIS DAY JOB.
