Sadly, I came here expecting poor service. It honestly wasn't as bad as what other reviewers had said. It's definitely a hike from the kitchen to the patio, so maybe you were sitting outside, it's a little more difficult for them to keep up? Not sure. Our server was who seemed/felt like the bartender. I thought that was interesting because we weren't even sitting at the bar. But maybe they were short staffed that day. Who knows...Maybe my expectations were slightly lower so I wasn't that disappointed by it. Â
Our table had the Fish and Chips, Chicken quesadillas, Fish tacos and Icehouse Nuts 6 (bacon, potato and some other things rolled up into a ball and deep fried). Fish and Chips was a little disappointing - heavily breaded and fish tasted like it had freezer burn. Icehouse Nuts 6 tasted like a hush puppy. I didn't get to try the fish taco, but the chicken quesadillas were a hit! Â
I must say though... the draft beer tasted like it was watered down. That was super disappointing...
There's a sign outside that says "Live Band at 9pm" but really that means they arrive at 9, stand around to dilly dally and then start to set up. We ended up leaving before they set up and started to jam.
My initial review was via my iPhone, so not posted. Having had time to sit down and review other posts, I'm adjusting my comments.
First, I was in restaurant management in a previous lifetime. This review is meant to be constructive in nature, and I want to state that up front since some of the previous reviews have not been responded to very well.
Went on a Friday night early. The front of the house was short staffed. I suspect someone did not arrive for their shift. Bartender was nice, but rushed, and was waiting tables. The bottom line was that service was very slow. Â Eventually, more staff was visible, but they were clearly not trained. Â The girl waiting tables doesn't need to be in a service or hospitality business. Very bad attitude and you can tell it's just not her "thing". If you don't like communicating with people - don't wait tables. The young man has potential, but just no training. Adding a hostess will help as we were ignored from the time we walked in until we had seated ourselves for about 8 minutes.
The outdoor area has a lot of potential, but it's just plain right now. In August, it will be a sauna out there without cover and fans.
Inside: nice layout, but about 11:30pm on a Saturday night and there's going to be a line for the men's restroom like you see for the women at a rock concert: It's a single person restroom. It needs a full stall partition to make it a two person room.
Back of the house: I had the fish and chips, wife had the chicken strips on the salad: both fried. Both frozen to fryer. My fish was not over cooked, but her chicken was inedible. Commonality of both meals is that were was zero seasoning. Salt brings out flavor. Leave it out and the meal is bland. I suspect the line cook is from fast food.
This place has potential. It really does. But it won't last thru summer without front training and a better cook. Â Some cover on the outside patio for the summer and music outside (if next door will allow it) could make this place pretty good.
To the owner I'll say: yes, you probably have a troll in your midst here on Yelp, but please take these review as constructive criticism.

Great staff! They seem like just a couple of buddies that opened their house and make food for us whenever we come in. It looks like just another part of the strip from outside but the inside is nicely decorated and their bar food is way above the standard. If you are a fan of spicy (or if you think you are) try their ghost pepper wings...then regret your choice in retrospect the next morning. They also have good drink specials and a nice variety to choose from. Visit this place today. They need to stick around!
Review Source:A couple of co-workers and myself frequent this place for happy hour every now and then. Great happy hour specials, and OMG...the food. The quesadillas so far have my vote for the absolute best in town. Sounds crazy for bar food...but peeps give 'em a try! Â Fried pickles are great, and the burgers are super juicy! Chicken strips and buffalo chicken wrap are uhhmazing. They have these potato skin things that we can never remember the name of, but if you spot them...DO IT.
The only complaint that I have ever had is once we had a waitress who, when asked for limes, brought a single lime and tossed it on the table and left to tend to other guests. But, this last time I went we didn't see her...hopefully management caught on to that one!
The one star is for our first visit here. We went for brunch on a Sunday. Service was friendly, and the food was pretty good.
The second visit is why it doesn't get any more stars.
We went for dinner. My fiancé loves fish and chips, so we were up to give them a chance.  Oh, how we were wrong. I ordered the steak, my fiancé ordered the fish and chips. My daughters had the kids chicken finger type meal.
All three weren't good enough for a dog. It seemed like all meals were warmed up in a microwave. Â They were dry and curled up and the taste matched the look.
My kids are usually not fussy, but even they complained about how tasteless and dry it was.
It may have been a bad night, but this seems more systemic than a one off.
This place was pretty BAD, me and my bf walked in and the lady greeted us, great right, yea WRONG. We were greeted by our waiter and he gave us a few minutes to order then when we were ready he wrote down the order and I showed him on the meun what I wanted. now keep in mind the meun said with any order of wraps or burger french fries or a side of a small side salad. Ok we waited FOREVER it felt like, and when we finally got our food it was the wrong one after I had showed him on the meun and and I saw him right it down, WHEN WE FINALLY GOT HIM TO COME OVER TO TELL HIM ABOUT THE FOOD. All he could say was YOU DIDN'T ORDER THAT!!. No I felt like telling him to look at your notes you DUMB ASS. Now at this point he has still never brought us our salad and when we finally told him that we ordered salad he said yall ordered salads. My bf felt bad about him eatting so he waited for me till I got my meal that I asked him to redo. WHEN IT CAME TO THE CHECK, when we finally got his attention to come over here he came me my check and of course the check was WRONG !!! I made him change it and then we left. I WILL BE CALL THE MANAGER, WORD TO THE WISE DON'T EAT HERE.
Review Source:While at this place with my husband and friends we did not enjoy being  asked when we were buying a round of shots, "hey how about one more for me ha ha just joking?" by the bartender. A bit unprofessional if you ask me. I have been to Ireland numerous times with my work as well as England and this is more of a British Pub if you are going by the pub type food. They did not even ask when serving me my corned beef and cabbage if I wanted  horseradish and it never came out with the dish as it should they probably don't even know. If you are going for the ambiance of a pub it is neither. There is no cozy atmosphere that makes you want to come back. We enjoy authentic Irish Pubs and this is not one. After my first review I received numerous threatening emails from people including the owner telling me to come say my review to his face (so of course I thought I should update it and let the Yelp community know what they are in store for should they decide they don't like it either)! He made no mention of, hey how could we have made it better it was very arrogant telling me I wouldn't know what a real Irish Pub was anyway since I had never been to Ireland, apparently he knows my background..REALLY wow very professional. We thought wow this would be a great place to hang out since it is close to home, NOPE. I am not going to respond to any posts by the owner this place is an itty bitty tiny hole in the wall and will be closed in 6 months!
Review Source:Irish Icehouse has just opened and they're off to a good start. Â I'm still a bit partial to Holy Grail in the shopping center a bit south of Irish Icehouse because of their larger beer selection and stellar food quality, but here's what's better about Irish Icehouse: Â First, it's bigger. Â I see people turned away from HG often because it gets packed quickly. Â The patio overlooks a pond rather than a parking lot and is sizeable. Beer prices are lower and they have the most incredible infused vodka they make in house for Bloody Marys. Â (Keep the tomato juice and just give me that!) Â The menu is larger and good quality, but there's not much for vegetarians or people trying to keep their diets in line. Â (Too many fried items.) Â The bartenders and servers are friendly and welcoming. They're a really good addition to the area and I hope they do well. Â They're in the corner space next to Pei Wei. Â GO!
