Stopped in to this location on the day before the Jimmy Buffett concert; if you've never experienced a JB event, it means that crowd control is needed for a full day and a half before. RVs everywhere and this place is adjacent to the event venue. So it made it a little hard to reach, but we perservered. It was worth it.

The cream of jalapeno soup (ask for it) is to die for and their house made Maytag potato chips are decadence on a plate. Rarely do we ever have anything we don't like. The service is always top notch and the atmosphere is relaxed a comfortable.

Hopefully, they survived the onslaught that night....

This location is great. Our food and service was great. The only thing negative I would say is that they said there was a wait but they have 5 table that sat for a long time dirty.

I've been there about a dozen times.  Small town feel with the service.  Great food.  The breakfast is great.

Went in for breakfast for the first time and ordered and veggie omelet. Was good however the hash browns came out cold. Had to send back. The manager did check with us to make sure the second set was fresh!!! Also ordered the chicken fried steak and it was super!! Great big portion just like we like it here in the good ol' state of Texas!!!

We came here for breakfast this past Saturday, our first time dining in the new building. There seemed to be plenty of staff around, but most of them were socializing with obvious regulars at the bar. Our waitress was nice, but our drinks were not refilled until we were getting ready to leave. I asked for a togo box and she finally brought a refill with it. I asked if I could get a togo cup since we were very apparently leaving. She said she would get one, and then disappeared. After waiting a few minutes, we just left. I don't mind crappy service if the place is super busy, because at least there is a reason or being neglected. When it isn't very busy and the staff is spending more time chatting with the neighborhood drunks running up $8-10 tabs, as opposed to serving tables with $40-50 checks, there is a BIG problem. Unfortunately for II Brothers, there are much better places to eat in the area. I don't anticipate this new location working out for them if they continue with the sub-par service. Simple math will tell you it is NOT the bar dwellers beer tabs that are going to pay the ridiculous rent for this new building, it is your diners. Get it together or you'll be forced back to the ghetto building off Preston.

I hope the owner actually reads and cares about Yelp and other reviews, as this place has gone down hill since moving to the new location.
We used to eat dinner at the old location at least once, and sometimes twice a week, and breakfast nearly every Sunday.  After our last Sunday breakfast experience, we went looking for a new place to become "regulars" at.  We waited 35 minutes from the time we placed our order until our food finally arrived.  When it did, the serving of hash browns that came with my Eggs Benedict, which by the way are still wonderful, was less than the size of my iPhone.  Seriously?

Also, my iced tea glass was empty for at least 10 minutes before I was able to flag down someone, not even our waitress, for a refill.  We could see our waitress chatting over by the hostess station, but could not flag her down.  She should be checking her tables, not socializing with the rest of the staff.  This has happened on more than one occasion with more than one waiter/waitress.

We have had similar experiences with dinner.  The burgers and sandwiches are still very good, but it takes a long time to get them, and the side servings, be they the homemade potato chips or fries, look to be counted out rather than dished out.  There were times I could see more plate than food, which never happened at the old location.

I gave it 3 stars mainly because the food is still delicious even thought they seem to be rationing the sides. I hope they improve service by training their waitstaff to be more attentive to their customers than their coworkers.  We will certainly go back and try again, but if the experience continues to be the same, we may give up on this place entirely.

Food gets a 5 as they've got the best burgers. Service gets between a 2 to a 3. Servers are nice enough...it's just real slow.

We went here last night for the Dallas game and had some pretty good food.
The fried pickles, my husband said, were some of the best we've had. The calamari was pretty good for a bar, but the wings I thought weren't that good. They fry them after they have put the sauce on, so you don't really taste much buffalo. Just my opinion maybe! My husband and I wanted to try a little bit of everything so that's why we split the sampler. For our main course, we weren't that hungry after the appetizer, we split the grilled chicken breast. The chicken was cooked perfectly, very juicy. But, the asparagus was horrible! I like a little crunch in mine, but geeze these were HARD. No seasoning on them, you can tell them just set them on the grill for a few seconds.

One thing that stuck out to me though, three separate parties had to ask in order for them to turn the sound on to the game. Why would you put it on the TVs and not turn the sound on...on NFL kickoff night....with the Cowboys playing. Eventually they did turn it on for us, but at a bar and grill why should you have to ask??

    Major Positives:
    Great bar/beer selection
Plenty of TVs around the place
    Pretty good food
    Plenty of room

    Major Negatives:
Kind of Pricey ($50 for my husband and I)
    Service is a little slow

I'm pretty sure my husband and I will be going back, probably not on game night though. The food is good enough to get us back in the door!

    Awful food and bad service.

We went here on late Saturday afternoon. We had seen the old location severl times and thought we would try it. We ordered a cobbler, queso, 1 sweet tea, and fried pickles = $40.

Queso- Worst ever! Even my 4 yr old wouldnt touch it. It had no flavor, no tomatos nothing, It does come with very little meat in it. It thickens and hardens before you can eat it all. I thought I would bring the rest home and put rotel in it but it was hard to melt.

Fried pickles-- They were ok but cold.

Cobbler- My daughter did love her cobbler and it seemed fresh but had barely an crust.

Service. VERY slow! We ended up taking some of everything home. Had to ask for a bag for our boxes 3 times.

Just isnt the place for me

I was so excited to visit this location since we love the location at Preston/121. We had a party of 8 and were all disappointed. They ran out of some appetizers (it was only 5pm). Also, there is not one single piece of FC Dallas paraphanelia in the place. The wait staff had no idea there was a soccer match going on, and management seem ill-prepared for the crowd that showed up. My food was still tasty, but I would encourage management to do some research and be aware of game/concert nights so they don't run out of food. May try again later to see if they have improved.
