Ok, after average to cruddy food in Cortez we have found some foodie places in Durango. The fish and chips portion is huge and I like to eat but this was more than I could handle, giant pieces of cod beer battered and the tartar/dill sauce was great. The fillets were piping hot when they came out crunchy on the outside and flakey moist on the inside. Oh how I wish this place wasn't an hour drive from my place in Cortez, I would eat here twice a week, can't wait to try the Rueben here, it was on the special when we went but we opted for the fish that time.
Review Source:I just rolled in from Arizona and stumbled down to this welcoming establishment to grab a bite to eat. Â Luckily for me they serve a proper guinness pint, but unfortunately for my wife they were out of most of the menu items that interested her when we decided to come inside. Â I had fish and chips which were quite tasty, both the panko breaded piece AND the battered piece. Â She had a panini which wasn't excellent, although you can't blame an Irish pub for mediocre italian. Â I'd eat here again but if she decides to join me I'm sure she will stick to the Irish side of the menu :)
