OK, so you are a new owner of a restaurant in the burbs. Â You're surrounded by chain places with line ups every night. You buy a place that had been in the area for a very long time and had a pretty good following, what do you do? Â
I can think of a pretty long line of things that you could try. Â Changing the menu to an even more, lame ass bar food menu would not be on the top of the list! Â Really, what the hell are people thinking. Is there nothing but people buying restaurants with no imagination, no restaurant business sense, no sense of adventure and the crowd proved it. Â
Not to be negative but on a street with every chain restaurant you can think of,some smaller chains like Pittsburgh Blue, Granite City and a bunch of other small joints I'm supposed to stop here for a regular bar food, frozen sides and regular tap beer? Â Man, the new owners must have had money to burn and nothing to go with it!

A bar with (not so good) food. Â Lots of drinking and pull tab buying. Parking lot is a challenge because of the other nearby businesses. Â Not my favorite place. Â Champps is close by and a much better find in town - - - much better food, seating, and bar.
Don't waste your money here.
People gave this bar a good review on there food?.... I need to know what they ate!?!? Over the past 5 years I have eaten here 6 or 7 times and I have never had a good tasting meal... even with bar food standards its bad. Drinks are cheap, but they dont cary Coke so my bacardi and Coke is really bar rum and Pepsi... Yuck again. Â Last time I was there they had a meat raffle... there were about 3 to 4 fall down drunk people, they were yelling and dropping the F bomb, one guy was pushing strangers and wanting to fight.... it was only 6pm!
however they do have hot waitresses
just go to Champs, a little ways down the road from this place (no i do not work for champs)
Friendly and attentive wait staff. Of course, it wasn't busy when I visited.  BBQ beef brisket is good stuff.  Especially with onion rings.  The sauce was slightly sweet  Late lunch time isn't busy.  The restaurant is roomy and would be the perfect place to frequent for sports fans if it were closer to the city.
Review Source:My husband and I had kind of an ongoing joke about this place, because it gets brought up a lot in suggestions when discussing where we should go to eat, yet we never would end up there. Well, we finally ended our joke and went on Saturday night.
We wished we would of gone sooner. Not only is it a cozy little local bar, that is a hole in the wall, without being a hole in the wall, if that makes sense (it's clean, and the  other customers didn't scare me!)
Any ways, the food was way above par for bar food. My husband had a double cheeseburger and made sex noises the whole time while eating it.
I had a buffalo chicken sandwich and it was excellent. The fries were oh soooo yummy as well. We were both very happy with our meal, after a long day.
The only thing that came across as a little strange was that there appeared to be a lot of regulars that seemed possessed by the pull tab devil. Seriously, there were several people who went back to buy stacks and stacks of pull tabs several times while we were there, probably spending hundreds of dollars easily, each time. Call me crazy, but who has money to just throw away like that these days? Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather make sure I pay my bills, than to chance losing it all to pull tabs!
Stay away from chicken nachos! Â I've never tasted anything so bad in my life. Â J.Cousie's is popular with some, but I don't understand why.
It appears I may have spoken too soon. Â After a night of ice skating, we thought we'd wind down at J. Cousineau's (with the understanding that no chicken nachos would be ordered). Â The people watching is amazing. Â There were the twenty-somethings who were dressed to go downtown but couldn't find the way. Â Eitherway, besides the young hipsters there are also those whom are content with their suburban lifestyle.
We decided to take to the darts and were tempted by the pizza. Â The pizza was a very reasonable $8 and was unbelievable (or at least I'm assuming this as it took only about 3 min to devour the entire thing).
This is a perfect lesson, that if you go once and may not be satisfied - do not fear another time and another choice of activities. Â This is a great place to have a game going in the background and through plastic projectiles at targets.
