One of my neighborhood spots that I hang out to see old friends and meet a few new friends. Yes it is a hole in the wall BYOB, spot you would have a great time. Nothing but laughs and fun. So get your bottle and come by sometime and see how much fun you have. You can come any way you like, just put some clothes on. I have been hanging in there on and off for about 10 years. But if you thing you are to classy to have a good time, don't come by.
Review Source:This is a true hole in the wall. Nightlife? Not really my cup of tea, this is a BYOB. I visited last night for a impromptu bday celebration for my cousin. Never again! Ambience? Dont look for it here... Service terrible. There was only one waitress, (overweight lady in a tight sundress) who looked more like a patron than a waitress. At first, she saw my crew find a table, she came over and asked for any drink orders. We were trying to get a feel for the place first, so we said no (also kinda trying to see if she was just a nice lady in the bar or a waitress). Later on she passed by and I tried to tell her we were ready to order, she impolitely pointed me to the bar....what?!
Its byob anyway so u only get setups , beer and wine. Boooooo to her, and im a heavy tipper!
The dance floor is about the same size as a kingsize bed...so there's no point to go there to dance.
Needless to say, unless someone I love and adore decides to go there (after I try to persuade them not to), I have no business in J &G's. Best attribute is the barbeque truck outside (which is unrelated).
