I love me some Irish pubs- my parents met at Keneally's for crying out loud! But the Shamrock Inn was a disappointment. Draft Guinness was flat, and tasted like line cleaner, and there's a funky/moldy smell that permeates the entire bar. The service is hit or miss (read: certain bartenders are definitely more pleasant than others). I've heard the food here is great, but I unfortunately didn't try any as I was unable to get over the smell. Get your shizz together Shamrock! I want to like you!
Review Source:The Irish are known for pulling themselves up by their bootstraps, and Shamrock Inn is no different. Thankfully, ownership has shifted to the matriarchal side and the aforementioned "stinking drunk D-bag" is no longer on premises. The current bartenders are friendly and savvy, meals are better than ever, karaoke is great, and bands are talented. Come as you are, and bring friends.
