Remember when I said, be prepared to wait and wait and wait. So this is how ridiculous the wait is. I ordered a pan of chicken for a 6 pm pick-up...I called and said I would be 20 minutes late, and I actually didn't arrive until 6:45. 20 minutes later I'm still there...I asked when will my order be ready, I'm told, the cashier tells me my chicken was ready when I walked in, they just need to pack the bread. 10 minutes later it is now ready. How frickin ridiculous, but since everyone at the party thought I had cooked it (yes, I can throw down like that). It was all everyone could talk about and they got some new customers. Â It really is worth the wait, but dang...30 minutes for some sauce and bread?
Review Source:1st time eatin here this past friday & ordered the lunch special with curry chicken, cabbage and plaintains. the curry chicken was great and had so much flavor, the plantains were soft and sweet, but the cabbage was too soft for my taste. i like them a lil bit more with a crunch and not so soft but they were still tasty. would eat here again if im that area.
Review Source:This place is really good. A coworker recommended trying this place out. It's new and opened next to the subway I usually go to so I decided to try it out. The nice thing about this place is that they accept major credit cards. The other place that I've been to takes CASH only, which sometimes sucks because I don't always carry cash on me all the time.
They have a typical menu for Jamaican cuisine. I ordered their jerk lunch. This includes 1/4 jerk chicken, bread, sauce, and any 2 sides (I got the cabbage and plantains). The chicken is tender and seasoned just right. The sauce could be a bit more spicy, but pretty good. I just love the BREAD! I don't know how to make it or where to buy it, but it is SOOOO GOOD! They also give you a decent amount of sides, which makes me a fan of this place.
Definitely worth going back again in the future.
