I recently attended a birthday party at this Sports bar/ Nightclub for the first time and didn't know what to expect. I'm not from Chicago nor familiar with the Burnham area, so I used my GPS to locate the place. I ended up at 2454 E State street but in a residential area. I don't know why this happened but I made a few phone calls and was able to find the place. When I got there I had a similar experience to the previous persons experience with security. They were rude and if I hadn't driven 3 hours for this party, I would've left after being treated the way I was. The drinks were reasonably priced but the bartenders gave better service and preferential treatment to the regular attendees and more than one of the guests of the party noticed this and complained about the bar's service. The DJ didn't have a good mix of music and didn't play much of the latest music. Lastly, another guest arrived and was told to keep their jacket on because they had on a t-shirt. So, I'm a bit confused. Is this place a sports bar or nightclub?! Since when are you not allowed to wear t-shirts into a sports bar? I did NOT enjoy myself and felt like the entire birthday party and guests weren't welcome at the local "neighborhood bar". I will NOT go there again nor do I recommend this place as a friendly establishment.
