DT Grill is my *favorite* place to get a burger. Â It even beats my former long-held favorite, Portillo's. Â Skip the mediocre Sharks restaurant next door and stop in at DT for the best burger of your life. You might have to wait a few extra minutes for your burger, but it is absolutely worth the wait. Â Friendly service and food done right. Check it out, you won't be disappointed. (DT now accept credit cards, too).
Review Source:Having been to DT probably about a dozen times since my initial review, I feel like I should up my rating to five stars. You really can't go wrong with this place, the food is just outstanding. Last time, I commented on the chili dogs, which are great. What is even better are the burgers. You could go to a fancy chain and pay $15 for a burger that is just not any good, or you can pay less than $5 for the best burger you can get in the area, anywhere, period.
I have tried a few different things to get a better idea of their other food. I would also recommend their buffalo chicken sandwich and the hot dogs. This isn't the place to go if you're in a hurry: they cook everything after you order it, but they cook it WELL. Nothing is flash fried, no corners are cut. The burgers will take ten minutes, but that's because they are cooked slowly, with care, for the best flavor you can get it. It also helps that everyone that works there are always extraordinarily friendly, and always willing to go out of their way to make sure that your food is outstanding.
Don't make the mistake of going next door to Sharks, where they sell fish and chicken. You pay too much for food that is so fried and disgusting that it lacks any real flavor, so you're out $20 for crappy food when you're next door to an awesome place. It breaks my heart to see all these people in Shark's wasting their money next door to awesome food at DT Grill. I'm telling everyone I know where to go for good food in Glenwood.
