Went there to see a  rock and roll band play, and Yelped the place before I went. Wasn't expecting much based on the previous reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. Service was good, patrons were friendly, I felt accepted and comfortable and it was an excellent venue for the excellent band (Roughcut--they were hot!). I would recommend it and I'll be back.

worst bar ever. manager is an ass, and bartenders spend moretime backstabing other employees and partons than serving drinks

Small local bar. A bit noisy, but you can't beat the taco tuesday. They take better care of the locals. I am a local. But do not go enough to get the special service. The food is ok. The drinks are not overpriced and snacks are good.

They would get a hell of a lot more business if they had more shows featuring local bands.  Drink prices are good and the women's bathroom is always clean (major points in my book).  The bartender on Wednesdays is very attentive, although I have been in on different nights of the week and not had such great service.  All in all, it's a cozy dive.  With a little improvement on the entertainment end this place could be great!

You gotta go for taco Tuesday $1.25 for 2 hard/soft tacos they are delicious!!!! And the bar isn't too bad either but service sucks if your not in their clique then you'll probably sit around waiting for anyone to come to your table to take your order or you'll stand at the bar forever, but if you can get past that food is great drinks are strong!

Been coming here since mid-80s, where I met Jimmy Vee one day. He was a backup singer to Dion and the Belmont s, "Runaround Sue", etc..  Anyway, my sister Lori works next door so it's a good place to spend Taco Tuesday and see her as well. Also, lovely Trudy works on Tuesdays. (If you think she is a knockout, wait till you meet her two year-old daughter! She recently told her Mom Trudy she is the most beautiful girl in the world - I think the daughter can give Trudy a run for her money someday. Visit yourself and decide.)
Although it's a hangout for locals, it's friendly for newcomers too. Taco Tuesdays are worth stopping for. Where else can you get two tacos and a brew for under $10? I mean worth eating!
The bar itself is nothing fancy, but in the day it was a lot cleaner and more upscale. The current owner runs Flashbacks in Berdoo & Baileys in Yucaipa, so the girls who work here can also be seen at the other places. Drinks are simple and straightforward. they have beer on tap, but a rather small variety. Mixed drinks are good to very good, depending upon who's working behind the bar, but I've never been disappointed or felt the drink was inadequately poured.
Food is OK, but their lunch specials can be quite good.
Music selections from the juke are very good, spanning country to hard rock to oldies, with most everything else in between. Come to think of it, I've never heard jazz or classical music here though. Local bands sometimes perform, usually on Fridays or Saturdays.
All in all, this place is worth a visit, either for lunch, late afternoon, or evening.  A great place to meet coworkers, friends, or share with your significant other.

This place is a local joint that draws all kinds of people. From the over 50 senior citizens that tell awesome stories to young people that are getting off work from the Stater Bros. plant down the street. It has friendly bartenders, big screen T.V's, a jukebox and every now and then you find a live band that will get you movin!

My girlfriend and I thought this might be a nice local bar to get a couple of beers and some hot wings...  I didn't expect the food to be great, but I thought it would be a relaxed local scene.

Its located on the north end of a very nice strip mall in a really quiet strip of land called Grand Terrace.  GT is a great little community.

The first thing you'll notice outside is the ratio of lifted trucks to normal cars in the parking lot.  Even with that omen, we went on thinking there are probably lots of young people inside and would make for good times and good people watching.

WRONG!!  The crowd is easily over 50, there were some 20 somethings in there, but just a sprinkling.  However, it gets worse...  Most of them were men and of course were eyeballing my dish.... so that was a little uncomfortable, she was easily the youngest woman in the room.

The lighting in the bar is set to "intense".  I've never seen a bar that bright... I thought someone was trying to land aircraft or something.  Also, for such a small place the music (band) was way too loud, I like loud live music, but not when you can't hear the person right next to you if she's screaming.

Lastly, I could have over looked some of those isses, had I got some decent service from the wait staff.  One waitress, so I know shes busy, but she saw us come in, and waited on two parties that came in after us.  WTF?  I endured two of bands songs... waiting to order a beer... which when the third song started and no service, we left.

Sorry JB's there is a reason why your bar is empty, or mostly empty... treat new customers like their at home and they'll come back and tell their friends...
