Came from out of town for a bachelor-bachelorette party on a Thursday night. Not very crowded but still a good time once the drinks started flowing.

I liked the Rum Bucket... You get what you ask for with that one, a bucket o' rum with a splash of juice. For $6. Not too shabby.

Fundraiser for a good cause made me and wife-san schlep out in snow to Pontiac for some piano fun.  Well, it was not as bad as I imagined it would be.... actually, it was kinda fun.  So, since half stars aren't available, I just tell you now... it's 3 and half star in my book.  No, can't go to 4 star just yet, but I might if I make it back out there.

If you know me, you know that I like ot eat delicious foods when I get opportunity to do so.  I know, you say "it's bar food Boodah-san"  I know... I know... but it was gooooood.  Tastey mini tacos... would would have thought!  Piano players were hilarious, good... not perfect, but very good at working a crowd.  So, if you like pop music new and old, check it out.

An absolute BLAST! A nice change from the usual bar scene. This place is full of good times and fun for everyone!

Visited for the first time on New Years Eve and plan to return soon with all of our friends!

AVOID this dump!!!!  I am seriously embarrassed to say that my friends and I participated in "bar nights" when we were 21.  The group and I decided to go here because it was the only place charging $10 or less to get drinks in downtown Pontiac!!!!  What a joke!!  We in were in Pontiac because of the show at the Crofoot.  The place still smells like puke and the service is nonexistent!!  Go here if you enjoy overpriced plastic cups of "Milwaukee's best"  WOW, has Pontiac really fallen apart.

I am with the others reviewing here, and would say this place was a lot of fun.

We hit it on a Friday at around 6PM, and just got in on their free food buffet and no cover...score!

Poor Pontiac always seems to get a bad rap, but this place is a real gem!
The place is clean, the workers are super nice, and the music and entertainment is a bunch of fun.
We had a group of 8, and when we got there the place was packed with the after work crowd as well as people rearing to have a good time. There was a large section in the back which was reserved fro the MSU synchronized swim team who was doing a fundraiser there that night.
They sat us on this little balcony type area that was big enough for about 10 to 12 people. It had a railing around it with a bar and stools.
We were elevate above everyone there, and centrally situated to the whole place, which really made this a fantastic visit for us.

The entertainers were really good, and they even had one of the waitresses get up and do some Janice Joplin, and although I am not that big of a fan of Joplin's music, the waitress did a great job! (The line in that song "man what are you doing here" really applied).

The prices were good, the drinks were strong enough, and the staff was fantastic.

I am planning and looking forward to a night out here in the next couple of weeks!

I love JD's. Every time my friends and I go there, we're guaranteed to have a good time. The wait staff pays attention to you even if you're not drinking which is very nice. The piano players are hilarious and the waiters and waitresses go on stage every now and again and dance which is also pretty funny and gets the crowd going. The cover charge is 10 dollars if you're under 21, and if you're over 21 it's 5 dollars which I think is fair, since most likely you're going to make up the 5 dollars even if you just have a few drinks and if you're under 21, you won't.

We went here over the weekend for my buddy's birthday.  It was a blast!  We had great reserved seats right in front of the pianos and the music wasn't overly loud.  Our waitress, Tanya, was excellent!  JD's is located right on the corner across from a large public parking lot that charges $3 to park.  This is definitely a great bar to have a party at.  All three of the musicians were very talented and seemed to know just about ever song that was thrown at them!
