BEST Pizza i've ever had! And I've had a LOT of pizzas!
(That's delivery, not traditional mom and pop Italian)
The crust is delightful the deep dish has crisp sides/edges and its covered in a thick layer of cheese (with the regular cheese, I bet if you ordered extra cheese it would be a lot like Chicago deep dish, whoa)! The sauce is great too!
The wings are okay (not amazing but not bad)
The salads are GREAT! Ordered the house with no cheese and it was really big and really fresh and yum!
I've ordered from here probably 2-4 times a month and every time it's been hot, fresh and amazing (and the delivery guys are always very nice) Only once was the pizza just a little bit off (you could tell it was sitting for a few minutes, still really hot just not straight out of the oven, and even then it was amazing!)
10x better than pizza hut, dominos and papa johns! Million times better than frozen pizza!
I heard the pizza was good but after waiting for 20 minutes and talking with 4 individuals as to what I had ordered, I asked for my money back and left. They were of course able to charge my credit card as soon as I arrived, just couldn't get the pizza made. Â Your choice to try them of course, but I wouldn't suggest it.
Review Source:If you like thick crust, this is the best in SWFL. I have had Jets in Michigan a hundred times and I SWEAR that when I get it up there - its better - I think that might be psychological... still it's REALLY good and you should give it a try if you like thick crusted, sweet tasting sauce type pizza.
I wish UNO's was still open :( they had the BEST deep dish! Jets will have to do!
Um, I became obsessed with this on vacation.
They are so different than CT style pizza - very thick and doughy, more like a hugely puffy focacia bread with sauce and cheese on top.
It's sort of like a thicker, puffy pizza hut crust. I liked it.
Their toppings are pretty "canned", though. For instance, typical canned black olives, but canned mushrooms, too?
They offer EXCELLENT sides. The large salad is seriously large. I ate it for 3 days, honestly. Good meat - salami & Ham on top, with lots of fresh veggies.
The Jet's bread was really delish too.
Finally, the delivery guys were so friendly and nice. They estimated 45 minutes the second time (weekend), but still showed up within 20 minutes.
I wish we had Jet's in CT! I'd order from there regularly.
Hadn't tried Jets Pizza or even heard of it ~ had been shopping nearby and stopped in for their lunch special (2 pieces plus drink, $3.99). Â A hot and delicious pair of square pepperoni slices hit the spot! Â The crust was thick and tasty, sauce just right and plenty of good cheese. Â We hit the jackpot and want more ~ so here I go to get some. Â Yum. Â Carry-out only but there are outdoor tables nearby.
Review Source:It was my son's birthday and he wanted Jets as he had had it before with some friends. I ordered from home over the phone and let pretty much right away to pick up (about a 10 minute drive). It was waiting when I arrived. Ordered a thin crust mushroom and their x-large square cheese. I would rate both as OK with an edge to the mushroom. There are some other styles (New York and Hand Tossed) that I would be willing to try again. Of course having some coupons made it a little more affordable. Would also like to try some of their other menu items (chicken, bread sticks and salads). There are a lot of pizza places nearby and I would not say this is any better or worse than the others around.
