The Wife and I headed over there for a Friday night's evening out and absolutely loved it! Â The service is top notch, the best I've experienced in a long time. Â The food was amazing! Â I had the hog snapper special with crab meat for $29 and it was a little touch of heaven. Â
And finally, the ambiance you just can't beat. Â Situated right across the inlet from the Jupiter lighthouse, it's as romantic as you're going to get for a nice evening out with your significant other. Â The best place in Jupiter by far. Â
(my wife wanted me to inform you all that they also serve warm, out of the oven, bread before the meal.  Irrelevant to me, but now you all know...lol  it too was delicious).
Solid, reasonably priced food and a really great view make Jetty's an awesome place for dinner. Â
We came here on a Friday night and it was absolutely jammed, which is mind blowing considering the immensity of the restaurant. Â There are indoor and outdoor seating areas which collectively have room for at least 150 tables. Â Sounds like a food factory, right? Wrong. Â Our food was fresh, hot and delivered promptly (very good service from our very busy waiter). Â The seafood was really good and cooked perfectly. Â
I had the ribs, which were surprisingly good. Â I mean, I was in the mood for ribs, but I should have ordered seafood, as it's their specialty. Â If you come here, get the seafood, but you won't be disappointed by their other options.
I'll definitely be back next time I'm down in Jupiter.
The best restaurant setting in Jupiter. I'd rate the food 3 stars but the whole experience 5. The wait staff very friendly and efficient. My party had fish which we enjoyed. Extra plus to the local daily catch. Also had any back ribs that were as good as most rib places.
The big negative is no reservations. If you don't like to wait, go in the off season.
Jetty's is a perfect choice if you want to be nice and take your grandparents out for a good meal. I had the clam chowder which was just o.k. and appeared to be watered down. For the entree I chose the steak tips. These were drowned in sauce which overpowered the meat.
The view is spectacular but menu is stuck in the last century and bland.
Good food, and a nice atmosphere here. Â What a view, you can sit out on the porch, and you're right on the water across from the Jupiter Lighthouse. Â You can even walk out onto the pier and see some fish. Â We went on a colder night, but it was no problem because they had their patio heaters on, and it was very comfortable. Â
I thought the food was really good. Â I had the crabcakes and filet, and the crabcakes were better than I've had at a lot of restaurants, and the filet was even better. Â Usually I have to put some kind of sauce on my steak, but this was marinated with whatever seasoning they use perfectly, and very juicy. Â
The only reason I gave it four instead of five stars is because it's kind of pricey. Â Not really overly pricey (about $25 per plate), just more than a lot of other restaurants.
Terrific meal and fun atmosphere at Jetty's, and portions generous. Â Crab cake and coconut shrimp and fish entree enough for the three of us who had already been snacking a little before dinner. Â Our 2 friends had grouper entree between the two of them. Â Our fish was hog snapper, a first for us and apparently a local fav. Â All of us enjoyed our food and also enjoyed walking out on the dock for some photos at the water's edge. Â A worthwhile stop.
Review Source:We had the pleasure of dining at Jetty's this past weekend  - being newbies to Florida,it was our 1st time there and the evening couldn't have been more pleasant.  The restaurant was busy for an early sitting, the wait staff was prompt, courteous and efficient and the meals (4) were all excellent. Only the conch fritters appetizer was sub Caribbean otherwise everything was - right on for the $$$. We will add this to our list of GOTO restaurants.
Review Source:Popped by here on my way out of the airport around dinner time. I used to go to the Crab House across the parking lot, but no more (well it's closed and replaced). I got Alaskan king crab and if it was ever frozen I couldn't tell. Fantastic service with a great booze list. The location is great and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Â I am a little bummed I hadn't been here before. Next time waterside!
Review Source:This is my family's favorite restaurant in Jupiter. Â We have been going here for 15 years . It is always packed and even busy in the summer.
We have never had a bad meal here, but my favorite is the coconut shrimp/ crab cake combo. I get it a lot ..(when I am not watching my weight). My son in law likes the steaks.
If you sit outside you have a wonderful view of the lighthouse and inlet..but I prefer to be inside with the old Fl. pickled wood paneling and framed recipes of seafood dishes.
Had dinner with my lovely wife tonight at Jetty's. We sat outside which had a great view but was a little muggy. The service was prompt & friendly. They didn't houd us every 5 minutes or ask us stupid questions like, "have you ever been here before?!" I had the coconut shrimp with filet mignon tips. Best coconut shrimp I've had in a long time. The filet was delicious & tender. My wife had the pineapple glazed grilled chicken. She loved it as well. The atmosphere at night is dimmly lit & romantic. I would definitely try it again.
Review Source:I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. I went with a group of friends as a belated birthday dinner, and we all had a great time. Upon arrival we were asked if we wanted indoor or outdoor seating. Since it is located directly on the water, we opted for outdoor seating, which seems to be more popular when the weather is pleasant. We were told that the wait would be about a half hour, so we ventured over to the bar for a few pre-dinner cocktails. The bartender was very attentive, constantly making sure our glasses were full, even with the large amount of patrons at the bar.
When we finally made it outside to our table, our server promptly greeted us and told us about the specials of the night. We started off with the conch fritters and spinach artichoke dip as our appetizers. They were both pretty standard, nothing to write home about. My entree however was delicious. I ordered the aged strip steak with asparagus, which was very flavorful and tender, perfectly cooked at a medium temp. My friends ordered the crab cake and coconut shrimp, which also looked tasty.
Our bill was pretty high, especially after ordering 3 bottles of wine, but the service and atmosphere make it worth the price. I will definitely come back here when in the area!
Jetty's is an elegant place with kind of a lax dress code (although I'm sure collared shirts are preferred). It's got a sophisticated casual type of feel to it.
My beautiful girlfriend and I came here for dinner one night based upon a recommendation from some of the locals we met at our hotel. I am really glad we did as it was my favorite meal in Jupiter!
Upon arriving, we had the option of indoor or outdoor seating. Since it was such a beautiful night and they are conveniently located on the water, the decision was easy. However as we walked through the modernized and dimly lit restaurant you can certainly see why people would opt for indoor seating.
We were seated and had a great view of the famous lighthouse which was located in the distance. Our waiter, Seth then greeted us and he was incredible. Really 5 star service. Â He was attentive and full or energy and enthusiasm. He complimented our selections and made us excited about our meals. Â
Speaking of our meals...for starters we got the crab dip which was really good. It was like broken up crab cakes in a pasty delicious form. For my entree  I got the seafood special which was a lobster tail, some scallops and stuffed shrimp. It also come with soup or salad and a side! I got the soup and some rice. My lady went with the surf and turf- steak and coconut shrimp meal. Holy smokes was it good. The soup (chowder) was fantastic and I added some of the left over crab dip to kick it up a notch. My lobster had the drawn butter sauce which was great, and the scallops were perfect. The stuffed shrimp was just ehh but I was so full by then it didn't matter. My girlfriend really enjoyed her steak and I tried the coconut shrimp and LOVED it. We then got coffee but didn't have any room for dessert.
Pricing may be a little expensive for the area  but compared to New York prices it was a steal.
After the meal we tried to walk off some calories by strolling along the deck. The water was clear so we could see the vast assortment of fish and felt guilty for eating their friends.
here is another nice outdoor waterside restaurant. They have great garlic bread with your meal and the best coconut crusted shrimp around. Â The soups are good, especially the chowder. The menu is a typical local menu, so you have to experiment with it to find your favorite. Service is ok, but the atmosphere makes up for it.. Be prepared to wait on weekends with nice weather.
Review Source:BEST meal I had in Jupiter. Everyone at my table got an excellent fish dish. The fish was super fresh, and the sauces/preparations were all delicious. Our waiter was knowledgeable and helpful regarding the fish selections. We also started with a crab dip, which was probably the best I've ever had, and a solid bowl of clam chowder.
The outdoor tables are also beautifully situated on the water, overlooking docks and boats. The atmosphere was truly lovely!
The view is what gives Jetty's its 4 star rating, up from a 3 for the food. I too have experienced the overcooked items as mentioned in other reviews.
This establishment seems to cater to a more senior crowd. Â I love to sit on the patio during my meal because you see the water and the lighthouse across the way. Â I like the way they prepare their king crab. Â They put it on the grill for a bit so it doesn't arrive soggy. Â Also, they pre-cut the legs so removing the meat is a breeze.
I most recently dined here on a Wednesday evening. Â It was quite crowded. Â Parties were waiting up to an hour for a table around 7pm. Â If you are single or a party of two, dining at the bar would be an alternative to waiting.
Long wait for a table. Appetizers were terrible. The shrimp and calamari were cooked to death. The crab cake a really strong/ fishy tasting. The dining room was loud with kids screaming and yelling. Our 4 entrees were well prepared the Snapper was over cooked but tasty. Way too much sauce smothering most of the fish. Everyone that sat outside looked calm and satisfied. The Diners inside looked overwhelmed and stressed. Maybe with Bubba Gumps going in next door all the rug rats will be over there and we can actually enjoy a meal. Most likely, I will be down the street at Guanabanas enjoying myself.
Review Source:Jetty's was suggested to my family for the best seafood restaurant in Jupiter. We were on vacation in the area and felt that we couldn't head back to the Midwest without finding some outstanding seafood. We found it, and more, at Jetty's!
The wait for a table was about 50 minutes, but we got to enjoy it on chairs on the docks in the back. It was a beautiful night and so the time flew by. Tables were a little cramped in the restaurant and it was very loud because of the quantity of people packed in there. My mom had the worst seat with people constantly knocking into her in order to get by... Definitely could be laid out better. But the food made up for it. The clam chowder was a delicious, huge bowl. Then I ordered the house crab cake & filet mignon steak tip dinner. Everybody at the table was raving over the steak. It had a slightly sweet marinade, but was mouth-watering. And I would recommend the Florida Mahi dish and the grouper; both were big hits at our table.
For anyone with gluten allergies, the rice pilaf has orzo in it and will not be a gluten-free option. Don't know why they would do that, but hopefully they change that in the future.
I thought Jetty's was ok. Â I think they cater to the tourist and older crowd who isn't necessarily going for quality seafood. Â
They've got huge plates and serve lots of food. Â Personally, I'd prefer a less food with more quality.
Great location right on the water. Â If you haven't been there, you ought to go. Â Then you can make your own decision.
Jetty's is by far the best seafood place in Jupiter. They have an amazing view of the lighthouse. You can go casual or slightly dressy, but in South Florida it's mostly tropical shirts and sundresses. The staff are all pretty attentive. The food awesome...seriously. I have not had a bad meal at the place. Personally, I think that the Jetty's Swordfish with Lump Crab Meat is the best thing on the menu ($26.99). Everyone I've ever gone with has fallen for this place.
The only problem: For some stupid reason Jetty's refuses to take reservations. Which in the summer is not such a big deal, but during "the season" (Nov. - Apr.) it can be hard to get in unless you show up early or are willing to wait forever.
Jetty's is the way to go if you are looking for casual upscale on-the-water dining in Jupiter with a view of the lighthouse. Your grandpa Lester looking for a venue for his 65th birthday party? Tell him to put on the tropical shirt, he's going to Jetty's! Blind-date with someone you met from the Internet? Tell her to put on her best I-don't-always-wear-this-much-makeup look, she's going to Jetty's! Best friends visiting from Manhattan and you want them to see your other best friend and mom and ex-boyfriend? Well pack up the awkward questions and glances, we're headed to Jetty's!
And that's exactly what we did.
Another Yelper that may or may not be a family member of mine mentioned the service. That's a shame, and maybe Jetty's took a cue from that review because it has improved. Plus every time I have been to Jetty's I've had great service. As for the food, I think you can't go wrong with anything seafood here: from the crabcakes (or as our server accidentally called them: cake crabs) to the scallops to the coconut shrimp to the mahi everything is delicious. The coconut shrimps are massive and you only get a few: but the fresh coconut is abundant. The crabcakes are baked, not fried, and very crabby. Even the conch fritters were delicious as an appetizer.
My mom and I like to go for happy hour where several of the dishes are half priced. The catch is that it only lasts from like 5pm-6pm daily, even on the weekends. Then we like to grab some chairs at the bottom by the water and look at the lighthouse and talk about life.
If you're passing through Jupiter and your palate is seafood discerning, I highly recommend you check it out.
I've been here four or five times for business dinners and the scenes is usually the same: inexplicably crowded and they don't take reservations. I've never had a meal here that was anything beyond A-OK. Prices are a bit high and service is definitely why one of the stars is missing. They tend to hire local high school kids to serve what is decided trying to be a more sophisticated crowd. The high schoolers work well at Guanabanas, but not here.
The bar for seafood in Florida is very high, and with so much local competition, all Jetty's really has to offer is the view of the waterway and the lighthouse. You won't be disappointed, but you won't be blown away either.
After spending the past week in Florida, Jetty's was my favorite overall restaurant and I went to a lot of great places. Â When we arrived there was about a half hour wait so we got a glass of wine and sat on the dock of the bay. Â It is a fantastic view of Jupiter Inlet and the lighthouse. Â Great lively atmosphere and packed inside and out. Â
For appetizers, the table split calamari and and the crab dip (served with chips). Â Both were very good. Â For the main course, I had the filet with lobster tail and scallops. Â Can't imagine there's a better item on the menu. Â The filet was tender and delicious. Â The lobster and scallops were excellent as well. Â
With the ambiance, great food and wine, you really can't have a bad time at Jetty's. Â I'll definitely be back next year.
Four of us came here for dinner on a Thursday night. It was warm out so we sat on the back deck by the water. The view is very pretty with the lighthouse and all the boats.
Our server was very helpful and nice and ran down a bunch of delicious sounding specials for us. I started off with the crab cake app which was excellent - I definitely recommend it. It flaked apart just right and was so warm and delicious. For dinner, I ended up getting the special sea bass with ginger soy sauce. It was a really big piece of fish and I took most of it home.
I'd give it 4 stars because the food was solid and the view is great, but I thought it was a little expensive. I think the bill came to about $175 for the four of us with no alcohol or dessert.
I love this place. Maybe it was the pleasant & attentive customer service, or the AMAZING outdoor view, or the heater keeping me cozy as the wind rolled off the water. Whatever it was, Jetty's provides a wonderful seafood dining experience. Nothing was overly pompous, and their food is DELISH.
I'd say it's overpriced a bit, but if you're there in Florida for vaca like I was, I think the extra cost was well worth it. They open @ 5pm daily.
Great location, great decor, good service and plenty of seating. Â I ordered one of the specials - hogfish snapper in a white wine sauce with lemon and covered with shitake mushrooms & crab meat. Â I felt the special would be the best choice since it is freshly prepared.
The bread basket was garlic bread with additional whipped butter on the side. Â I chose to sit on the patio since the weather was so perfect. Â I chose to sit at a table at the back of the patio close to the interior dining room. Â Big mistake as the servers constantly bumped into my chair. Â I moved to another chair at the table and continued to enjoy the view.
The crowd is mixed with elderly, middle aged and young professionals, and the background music was upbeat yet not overwhelming. Â This place would be great for a romantic dinner as it seems to come alive at night.
On to the entree...the server mentioned that the taste would be similar to sea bass, yet it seemed closer to the consistency of catfish in terms of texture and flavor. Â The white wine sauce with lemon was thicker than what I expected, and the lemon was a bit overpowering to me...as if the lemon had been cooked in the sauce for too long. Â The mushrooms were a nice touch, but didn't add much flavor. Â The crabmeat on top was the best part to me. Â I ate the crab & mushroom topping with some of the rice pilaf and left over half of the fish behind. Â On top of that, I was chewing on something hard, and it turned out to be a fish scale. Â The rice pilaf also had some hard pieces of rice in it.
Overall, it was an OK dish without the scales and overdone bits of rice. Â I found it disappointing considering the $30 price tag.
Overall, I like it. Â I'd go back again.
The view is nice. Â It is right on the water. Â We were with a big group and we had our cocktails out on the deck and wandered around on the piers looking for manta rays. Â The lighthouse was directly across the water from the restaurant.
I ordered Jetty's famous coconut shrimp dinner with vegetables. Â It was yummy and very filling. Â We also had some appetizers that were tasty. Â I especially liked the artichoke dip - yum.
The service was relatively efficient but difficult to rate because we had such a huge group of people to feed. Â They kind of crammed us in a bit too much. Â We were definitely rubbing elbows and some were sitting on the corners of tables. Â I'm sure the experience would have been different with a smaller group.
Jetty's is as good as it gets. Â Anytime my family is in town visiting, they demand we have dinner here at least once.
I have been many time and live in Palm Beach Gardens. Â I highly suggest it and you won't be disappointed. Â I have never had a bad meal and the steak tips are incredible.
Jetty's was alright - nothing special. Very traditional steak and seafood  meal choices.
The best thing about this restuarant is the location - if you sit outside and you are with a group of people it makes for nice ambiance. Otherwise, i think it's pricey and not so out of this world. Not super original. The food WAS good though. I had a filet mignon and asparugus.
It was quite busy when we arrived at 8:30 and we were seated quite promptly even though it was pretty busy which was good. :)
Would it be my first choice, probably not - but I would go back if invited to again.
Oh my Gloriousness! Â That's right, its Glorious with ness at the end!! Â You know why? Â Because Jetty's has not lost their ness. Â They are as amazing as the last time I ate there which was years ago. Â I went last night and had the special which was Fresh Hog Snapper topped with Blue jumbo lump crab meat and a Bearnaise sauce with asparagus on the side. Â Oh my! Â It also came with a Caesar salad that was awesome! Â Oh and we ordered the crab appetizer and all I can say is WOW. Â I've never had a crab dip that was ALL crab. Â Not drippy or mayonaise drenched but it was very filling. Â
The only reason why I'm not giving Jetty's 5 stars is because of the service. Â Our sever was OK. Â I would have guessed that he had little to no experience before starting here and that he was new. He came over and looked at us. Â Never introduced himself, I guess he thought we would just start talking. Â It was a bit awkward so I asked for waters while we continued looking. Â I ordered a gin and tonic and i specifically said I wanted 3 limes and he came back with my drink without a bev. nap and only one little lime wedge. Â Oh and our appetizer came out before our drinks. Â We had to ask for bread. Â And he never checked on us after the meal came out. Â Thank goodness the meal was amazing. Â If it wasn't I would have been pissed because he came by to see if we wanted another drink when we had finished 80% of our meal. Â As an ex server I take notice to this sort of thing. Â Does it put a damper on an experience? Â Yes. Â Did it ruin my experience? Â No because I had good company and GREAT food. Â But seriously, the service should have been better.
I just ate here again tonight. It's always a great place to go sit and have a relaxing meal outside. It's not over priced so you won't break the bank. It gets busy during season and even out of season there can be lines.
The spinach and artichoke dip is the best I have ever had and definitely the best in town. The fish dishes are average. All entrees come with a salad or coleslaw and one side like fries or vegetables, etc... They have both indoor and outdoor seating but the outdoor seating is much nicer when its warm. They have heaters outside and wind skirts for colder nights. It's casual to dressy attire and is always great. My favorite is the king crab legs. I always enjoy eating here and would recommend it to anyone. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating.
This is place is fun - large, loud and if you sit on the large veranda - you have a great view of the lighthouse and the boats! Â We went as a party of four - ordered the spinach and artichoke dip as well as a crab dip. Â Then I had the Chilean sea bass with a sweet soy teriyaki - which was fantastic. Â The lady had the sea scallops that were swimming in a rich, thick, creamy sauce (not what we were expecting). Â Overall the food was so-so, ambiance fun and the service good. Â I have to mention that most of the staff seemed to be attractive, teenage blonde girls! Â Great if you're single, not so great when you're there with your GF and her dad. Â Ha ha.....
Review Source:This is my favorite restaurant ANYWHERE. Â I am from Chicago but I have family in Jupiter. Â We always go to Jetty's when we visit. Â The staff is always friendly, and the service very attentive.
There is usually a wait, but that's what bars are for. Â Plus, if it's a good enough restaurant, there will be a wait. Â The mix great martinis.
I always get some kind of seafood (if it swam once, I'll eat it!). Â Some of my faves are Jetty's Swordfish, the Chilean Sea Bass, and the Surf N Turf.
We always sit outside on the deck by the water. Â It has a great view and really completes the experience. Â Great for groups or a date! Â I was there a few years back with a girlfriend and it was romantic sitting right by the water eating a great meal.
I really can't say enough about this place. Â The food is just so unbelievably delicious. Â Highly recommended. Â Certainly not the cheapest place for seafood in the area, but you definitely get what you pay for.
