I've always liked Jimmy John's. Â I was happy to find one close by my home! Â Stopped in during a slow mid day time, greeted by two very nice guys. Â Never had their tuna salad, so I decided to try it. Â It's okay. Â I would recommend going with the turkey club. Â I will be back, and hope to have the experience I expect when I visit a Jimmy John's anywhere in the US. Thanks!
Review Source:I'm done with Jimmy Johns. Â They no longer offer salt and pepper on their subs and I have no desire to eat a bland sub for lunch. Â They graciously agreed to sprinkle, with their hopefully clean fingers, salt on my sub but do not carry pepper. Â How cheap can you get! Â And they now weigh every piece of cheese that goes on your sandwich. Â What a huge disappointment! Â Used to be a great sandwich shop-but now it makes Subway look great-at least they aren't so cheap they won't offer salt and pepper. Â Good bye Jimmy Johns-I wont ever be back! Â There are better choices out there! Â Should have asked for a refund!
Review Source:This place deserves no stars! We won't ever go here again. Incredible noise level, absolutely astonishing how loud they keep the music (hard rock) in this place. Â We could hardly hear ourselves speak to one another and saw other families with children and the parents seemed upset-too cold to go outside to eat but it looked like they could hardly communicate with their kids because of the extreme noise level. There were several employees behind the counter who didn't seem to care at all--they should, their hearing is probably being damaged. We went before and the noise was the same--extreme. We're finished with Jimmy Johns. Just incredible!
Review Source:My coworkers and I order from this particular store at least once a week. Â However, a few weeks ago our order of 3 sandwiches took over an hour to be delivered. Â Once we began to eat our sandwiches we noticed that each of our sandwiches had something wrong with it. Â We called the store, and the store manager told us to quit eating the sandwiches and give them back to the driver because she was going to send him over with new sandwiches. Â Before we could say that we had eaten half of our sandwiches, Shelby the manager hung up on us. Â We called back the store and asked for Shelby. Â We explained that we had already eaten half of our sandwiches because we had been waiting for over an hour and she responded with "Fine. Â Don't return them. Â New food is coming." Â Then she quickly hung up again. Â I went online and wrote a complaint to http://JimmyJohns.com about this particular manager. Â The district manager did make a phone call to me apologizing for the inconvenience. Â He also told me that Shelby herself was going to call me to apologize. Â I have yet to hear from her, so I will no longer be ordering from this particular restaurant.
Review Source:I have a bit of an addiction to Jimmy John's. Â Food is always fresh, reasonably priced and FAST! Â The staff at this particular JJ's is excellent. Â They get the order correct everytime and are friendly. You really can't beat the value for your money here. Â I recently went a whole foods to grab a quick sandwich and was charged over $8 for a ham and cheese sandwhich with mayo and tomato on 2 slices of bread. Â I thought they were kidding. Â At JJ you get a good sized sandwich with a good amount (not too much, not too little) of substance for about $6. Â Great place for lunch!
Review Source:Since getting a message from Josh M. I have decided to write a review of Jimmy Johns that goes into more depth and detail. Josh M is obviously a hater and told me to "quit being a bitch and eat my sandwich". When I stopped into this particular place for lunch, I didn't have any grand expectations. I just wanted a decent lunch. The 2 guys there were preoccupied with god knows what, since I was the only customer in the place. It took a few minutes to explain exactly what I wanted and they got it done. The sandwiches were fair at best. Nothing more than Quiznos or Subway could have done. The service was mediocre, but the kicker here and at almost all of the places I go, was the tip jar at the counter. I like to tip at places like this because I know how much these guys make, and it's not much at all considering all the customer service thye have to do in the course of a day. It seems like every place I leave a tip, it is unacknowledged by the staff. I dropped 2 dollars intot he jar right in front of the guy and at the very least, I feel like there should have been a "Thanks" in there somewhere. There wasn't. I don't feel like I or anyone else for that matter should be ignored when tipping. I don't need a gushing amount of gratitude, but I do need an acknowledgemnt that I care enough to throw down extra cash for their hard work. I won't be tipping anymore in these kind of situations.
In case you might think I don't understand the food service business, I had a bakery in Littleton for 2 years with the same tip jar arrangement for my staff. All my employees were very grateful for the extra money and they always made it a point to say "Thankyou" . So Josh M. if you're reading this, you can pogue mahone!
This Jimmy John's is quite a good one. It is on my way to work and I stop in often. I have never had to correct the sandwich maker, nor have I ever experienced a bad sandwich. I love the staff here equally as much as the sandwiches.
I always order the same thing no matter which shop I'm in:
No. 11, easy mayo, no lettuce, add sprouts and double avocado spread.
Nom Nom.
I love Jimmy John's. I think the bread is good--somewhat crispy on the outside and soft and fresh in the middle.
Today, I was impressed with this location. I went in and it was busy and the gentleman that took my order was super friendly. Asking me questions and was just a nice guy. Two people said "hello" when I came in and two or three people said 'goodbye" or "have a nice day" when I was leaving.
They are super fast and I really like their sandwiches. My only complaint (and part of it is my fault) is they asked if I wanted a pickle. I had never had the pickle but was charged for it. I kind of forgot where I was ( I think Heidi's gives a free pickle wedge) and didn't realize I was charged for it. Otherwise i don't think I would have ordered the pickle. Oh well. It was good and was a whole pickle--anyway, wish he would have said "Do you want a pickle for a $1 more "or whatever it cost?
Good sandwiches, very friendly staff (today anyway) and super fast!
Jimmy Johns is one of my favorite sandwich spots. This is no worse or better than any other location I've been to. It was the first time I tried their pickles, and they are AWESOME - crispy unlike what you may think they would be because they are whole pickles.
The service is great, the foods consistent. Get the #12 with hot peppers and a pickle!
Ok the sandwiches are not quite the size that they lead you to believe, however the taste is great. I love the variety.
Gotta love a place that has online ordering with the option for delivery OR pick-up. With the online ordering it is very easy to add or subtract items for your sandwich. The price is right for the size of the sandwich too. I say if you are hankering for a sandwich, give them a try.
I'm almost as unenthusiastic about writing this review as I was about the sandwiches at Jimmy John's. Billed as "Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwiches - Tasting is Believing, since 1983" - well I tasted and I believe that I will never go back. It wasn't terrible, just bland and ordinary. They claim to make their own bread - if this is the case they should find a new baker. The french bread is tasteless. My sandwich had some ham, some turkey, cheese, a few chopped tomatoes, lettuce and too much mayo. Honestly, I've had better sandwiches on airplanes (back when you actually got a meal on an airplane).
The service is unfriendly, not nasty but just just uncaring. I kept having to dodge the person sweeping the floor (like I was in her way) - ??
Unless you haven't eaten in days and Jimmy John's is the only option available, I say don't bother.
Well, I went in with low expectations given that it is a chain and this location is in a faux neighborhood.
Jimmy John's exceeded my expectations. The problem, for them, is that they succeeded in the wrong direction.
Let's set the stage properly. Subway has better food. My first clue should have been the giant jars of mayonnaise that are so prominently (and dare I say, proudly) displayed. The bread is tasteless and the sandwich had: mayo, ham, lettuce, tomato. Period. No other condiments were offered.
One visit per lifetime. I had mine and you might want to save your visit for sometime after your death.
Think about this.
"john" is another name for a "water closet" or "WC".
Thomas Crapper is commonly believed to have invented the flush toilet--which is located in the WC.
So why isn't this chain named Jimmy Crap?
I have had a couple of sandwiches at this location. Â I haven't been to the store downtown in a while but I remember enjoying their sandwiches. Â
The employees are always disinterested and just want to rush you out the door. Â All of the sandwiches I have had there are flavorless and have way too much lettuce. Â Last night I had a Turkey and Bacon sandwich and the bacon tasted terrible, like it was made at 8 in the morning. Â Â
Bad service, blah sandwiches. Â Even their tasty bread can't makeup for their shortcomings.
