Its right down the street, I so want it to be delicious...We have been twice and so far its OK. They have the opportunity to make it fantastic! So far its just a cheap place to eat. It feels like their are few places that owners want to be fantastic....and we are so looking for a fantastic independent place in the neighborhood. Come on Jus' Grill you have it in you to make it GREAT! I so want this to be our place.
Review Source:Ok, Suprised there are no 5 star ratings, BUT I will be the first! For a hole in the wall local joint, this really is as good as it gets! My husband and I come in here ALL the time - we've probably ate here atleast 15 times since we found Jus Grill 6 months ago. Staff is always friendly and attentive, food always comes out correctly, quickly and is oh so yummy! The place is  clean, I mean, we jus love this little joint. It is one of those restaurants that just has every thing - Chicken wraps, mexican breakfast, CFC, biscuits and gravy, cobb salads, alcoholic drinks, coffee, burgers - what more could you want? AND it's super affordable with huge portions.
5 stars to Jus Grill for being the BEST hole in the wall joint around town!
This is a great neighborhood diner. Â Good food at very decent prices. My family and I have ate their at least half a dozen times and have always had good experiences. Service at times leaves a little to be desired. Â Overall a nice place and will be back. Their Mexican entrees are better than you receive in a lot of Mexican restaraunts.
Review Source:Jus' Grill is a pretty great breakfast spot if you are looking for something more Home Cooked than iHop. In our group we ordered the Breakfast Burrito, Frittata and Huevos Rancheros... all were Delish! You should know my husband is a Huevos Rancheros connoisseur and wouldn't say it was the best he ever had but a great contender, especially for a decently priced breakfast. I couldn't post pictures because everyone immediately dove in to their deliciously smelling meals but I'll try next time. Side note, it seems like a good sign that they get pretty busy on a weekend (breakfast) but they seem to seat you fairly quickly.
Review Source:Good friendly service. Not the fanciest breakfast and don't expect a 'snooze'. Our usual go to for inexpensive breakfast that's hot, filling, and satisfying. Especially love the fluffy airy pancakes. Â Nice busy crowds for lunch and dinner, but I haven't tried their dinner service yet.
Food is fast and the coffee always flows.
A favorite place for the wife and I for breakfast on weekends. Good size menu coupled with pretty quick and friendly service makes a good place to enjoy our meal. Not over the top on the cuisine, but a basic breakfast the way it should be. Â Have to echo the coupon sentiment, no sense in paying retail here.
Review Source:We received a gift certificate for Jus Grill and thought we'd give it a try. Â The service was ok, the food was TERRIBLE! Â My kids had mac and cheese that looked great but tasted like mush. Â My husband had cheese enchiladas that were tasteless. Â I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and had to send it back because it was raw. Â Once it was cooked, it also had no flavor. Â The food was pricey and had no taste. Â We will not be coming back to Jus Grill
Review Source:Many opportunities of sampling their entries with consistent coupons being mailed to the house.. finally for some odd reason, had chance to stop by for breakfast on recent Saturday morning. Â When we got there around 11 AM., the place was packed. Â Its kinda small place inside the strip mall, about 3000 square feet. Â Nothing special to write home about.. Â and I forgot to bring the coupons.. darn it.
We were seated promptly, the waitress came over quickly and brought the water and took the drink order. Â
I must say, they had great selection of breakfast entries and also lunch and such. Â Each of our order had big serving of breakfast potatoes (scalloped kind) and the usual sides of bacon, eggs and such.. Â I had waffle combo and the price was reasonable and taste was good. Â
Just like the sign, they serve home cooked meal. Â The food reminded me of Dimitri's on Havana before they sold it to someone else.. the menu reminded and price reminded me of Le Peep in the olden days.
I will definitely do the repeat business. Â Keep up the good work.
If I want good, basic, simple, fresh diner food, cheap and fast, I will go to Jus Grill.

We are breakfast at any hour people and this place is great. Hot and fresh, definitely made to order without a lot of overreaching and simple service. What would you like, how is it, can I get this plate, have a nice day, a little schmoozing and you can hang out when it is not busy and not get the stink eye.
How can you tell if a place gives a crap? I walk over to give the cashier the coupon sheet I got in the mail, she takes scissors out, cuts out the one I am going to use and gives me back the rest. Most places grab the whole sheet, heaven forbid we would come back again and use ANOTHER coupon.
Reminds me of a truck stop or diner in a small town. Even the bathroom was clean.
This place is our goto.
We went for breakfast on a Sunday. Â This place was really busy. Â It's not very big either. Â We didn't have to wait but some people did. Â The staff is very friendly and attentive. Â The food was really good and pretty large portions. Â I like that they put a carafe of water on your table. Â Good prices. Â I love to find new places for breakfast and I will definitely be back.
Review Source:So for the past month I've been trying to come up with something to write about a place that we took a friend to, Jus' Grill. I have to admit, there isn't much to say about Jus' Grill.
The food is good but not fall out of your chair good/great. The service is for those that like a hands off kind, they give you crafts of water or your drink so they don't have to keep refilling your glass. The decor is almost non-exist, and small tables.
The food as I said is good but nothing that I can't make at home. The flavoring is there but nothing pops. I had the stake and cheese enchiladas. The stake was flavored well and it came through with all the cheese and green chili sauce. The rice was just another version of Spanish Rice, some seasoning but not a lot.
Simon had the Jambalaya with a house salad. The dish had good flavoring and the pasta was cooked well. He did find a shrimp shell mixed in. Â Our friend had the Tilapia fish with rice and broccoli. He said that the fish was cooked well, not dry and the rice and broccoli was good.
After asking the waiter for a desert menu, I ordered a Sunday, Simon ordered a Apple Pie and our friend ordered a Blueberry Pie. The pies were reheated. Simon's was nice a warm but our friend's pie had sections that were still frozen.
Over all, I can't help but think of Jus' Grill, as just another grill/restaurant with a large menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Good food but not great. Ok service and small tables. If you don't feel like cooking and want to spend little money, Jus' Grill is the place to go. Maybe we'll go back for breakfast, as I hear that it what they are known best for.
This is now my go-to local breakfast place. Â It's pretty typical diner breakfast fare, but everything I've tried so far has been good, though not spectacular. Â Portions are adequate and the price is right. Â To compare to chain breakfast places, I'd say they're a notch above Le Peep and Village Inn, and 2 notches up on Denny's. Â Still no replacement for the Egg-ception, though. :-( Â One drawback: If you come during the rush hour and have to wait for a table, the only place to wait is across from the bathrooms. Â This could kill your appetite.
Review Source:First time. I had a club sandwich (a safe sandwich for a first time in a cafe). It was BIG. I mean this thing had to be 4, maybe 5 inches thick. And the fries were very good, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and not greasy.
The decor is just cheap diner. It's in a strip mall as has been mentioned so it's nothing fancy.
It's food... Not bad, not great. Just food. I would probably eat here again if I was in the area and hungry.
Our server was friendly enough and not annoying (a good thing).
Diner style breakfast.
The food is consistently good. The wait staff can be very friendly or just really rushed depending on the day. Coffee is ok and I have had the pancakes, huevos rancheros, spanish omlette, Jus' Two Eggs but never had anything but breakfast. I do not like the potatoes/hashbrowns as I prefer my potatoes to be cooked more and in my opinion these are under done in the middle. The food is similar quality to chains like LePeep.
I try to get someone to share with me because the portions are really large. They are very fast with their service, leave coffee in a carafe and a pitcher of water on the table and you pay your bill at the register like most diners. I think they have fair prices and we will often meet my family here for an affordable breakfast.
They can get pretty busy and the waiting area is by the bathrooms so that is awkward. If you have to wait I sugget doing it outside on the bench. I would say if they try to sit you in the table by the bathroom to just  offer to wait for another table. Sat here once and not only are you looking at the bathroom door but everyone waiting to eat is staring at your food. Really uncomfortable. I wish they would rearrange a bit to make the dining area better. The tables and floors are clean and so is the bathroom.
I will continue to go to Jus' for a diner style breakfast.
We typically like to go out to experience new food and flavors, that we don't normally experience at home. With that said, we tried the breakfast here and we found the flavors to be very ordinary and typical. We really could have done this at home, perhaps even better at home. We will watch the reviews and if we determine that the flavors improve and pizazz is introduced, we may give it another try.
Review Source:Went back to have breakfast. Â Breakfast burrito wasn't what I expected. Â Expected Eggs, Bacon and potatoes, each item separate in the burrito. Â Instead, got eggs, bacon and green chilis all scrambled together and put in a tortilla. Â Also didn't expect the green chili to be orange. Â For $7 it was just okay.
Review Source:Located in a strip mall with a ton of parking... oh.... I'm in Denver where there is always plenty of parking. Â About 18 tables in this modernly decorated restaurant with a big flat screen in the corner in case the Broncos, Avs, Nuggets or Rockies are on. Â I decided to have the Chicken Fried Steak with biscuits (hahaha... sorry... You'll see later) and Gravy. Â Sister had the green chili breakfast burrito. Â We walked in with only 5 tables filled and by the time we left, every table was filled, so this place is popular with the locals. Â
The steak is a deep fried variety and it was a modest size. Â Not the smallest i've seen and not the largest. Â The batter on the steak was seasoned very well and the gravy was the basic white gravy with bits of sausage. Â The steak was fork cutting tender. Â I liked the steak. Â What wasn't impressive was the biscuits. Â When I ordered, I had the option of Toast or Pancakes. Â I switched it to biscuits. Â What I ended up getting looked like two small dollar size pancakes with gravy on top. Â These biscuits have to be the smallest biscuits known to man. So, they lose a star because the embarrasing biscuits.
My Sister had the green chili breakfast burrito and I tried some of it. Â The bacon is really smokey and good and the green chili in the burrito gave it good flavor. Â What was really wierd was the green chili sauce that either goes on top of the burrito or inside. Â She asked for it on the side so she could regulate the amount of heat. Â The side of green chili didn't even look like green chili. Â It wasn't even green. It was a brownish orange color and was loaded with corn starch to give it that gravy thickness. Â It wasn't appealing to the eyes and it tasted just like that Ortega Taco Sauce you by in the bottle. Â This green chili sauce is something I would never order again.
After reading Curt's review of this place, I had to take my husband there - we're both "mature" and "also heavy". Â So I figured it would fit us pretty well - and it did!! Â It's a great place. Â The food isn't fancy, but it's real. Â It's the kind of restaurant we used to eat at when we were kids. Â
OK - so much for reminiscing. Â Now for the real review: Â Like I said, the food is the real, old-fashioned kind. Â When we ate there, I had a chicken pot pie served with fresh melon chunks. Â It was delicious. Â My husband had 3 huge pancakes with fresh sliced strawberries. Â They were very good, too. Â I had a piece of pumpkin pie with whipped cream for dessert (and they know how to put on enough whipped cream, too!). Â They had lots of other great-looking food on the menu, but I couldn't try it all in one meal - we'll have to go back! Â Unfortunately, the decaf tasted a little burned, but that was a very minor issue for us. Â
The atmosphere is nice, too. Â It's very clean and well-lighted. Â And the music is just loud enough to hear, but not overwhelming like many places where we've eaten. Â The waitress was very nice, the service was good, and we didn't feel "rushed" at all. Â We've added it to our "destination" places, even though we drove a little over 7 miles to get there. Â Did I mention we really liked it? Â
I'd strongly recommend this place - especially for "mature" people. Â Â :)
This is one of those places that's nice to have around if you live, shop, or work nearby. Â But it's not destination dining.
I decided to try them when I checked Yelp for someplace different for my midweek breakfast out today. Â I never shop in this area, and don't even drive by very often, so I doubt I'd have visited if it weren't for Yelp.
For starters, the place isn't very cozy. Â You know the corporate "lunch rooms" some employers provide? Â Clean, and functionally furnished for it's stated purpose, but not so comfortable you'd want to hang out there. Â That's what this place reminded me of. Â Not bad, just not very good.
The food and service were pretty good. Â I had the breakfast burrito. Â There were lots of eggs and chorizio inside, smothered with a very tasty green chili and cheese. Â There was a generous portion of nicely cooked home fries on the side. Â The coffee was OK but not remarkable. Â They served it in a decanter so I could take care of my own refills...I like that. Â They also gave me carafe of ice water without my having to ask...I like that, too. Â The final bill was only $8.45...got them one more star than I was originally going to give.
Acceptable, but it didn't make my regular rotation.
I really like having a regular food place in the neighborhood run by a family.  I chuckle when I go in- usually the place is filled with more mature people and also heavy people.  Usually solid good  food at a ok price. The dining room is simple,  breakfast is good ,  service is usually pretty good, and I have found the food to be consistant.- not a fancy place- but nice to be able to run over for lunch while wearing comfy day off attire.
Review Source:Jus' Grill opened around March 1st of this year (2010), a couple of doors down in the strip mall (Buckley Square) from my local dry cleaner and my beloved Starbucks.
It's a clean, small, diner-ish restaurant with a roughly 30x30 dining room, and decorated in a plain but not unpleasant way. I had a hard time deciding how to categorize them, but I guess American (Traditional) is the best fit. About half of their menu is breakfast foods - they have just about everything you can think of in a wide variety of pancakes, crepes, skillets, french toast, breakfast sandwiches, burritos, on down to plain old bacon and eggs. The remainder of the menu (lunch and dinner) is fairly generic, but extensive for such a small place. Steaks, salads, burgers, all the standard sandwiches (BLT, club, etc, etc), pasta dishes and so on. In addition to this there is a "Mexican Dishes" and a "Breakfast Mexicanos" section with about 8 and 4 different choices (respectively), a few kids selections (breakfast and lunch) and a selection of espresso drinks (they have a machine).
Prices for virtually all entrees are $7-10 as of this writing.
As a new restaurant, they're clearly still figuring things out, and there were a few service mistakes (and mistakes on the check -- the guy who rang me up admitted "we're still learning the prices"). No biggie -- they fixed them without delay.
The food is OK, but obviously we'll need a couple more visits to figure that out completely. We ordered the chips and salsa for an appetizer and found that they use pre-made corn tortilla "variety" chips (i.e. regular, red, and blue corn chips), and they serve Pace mild salsa. That's a shame, but it makes them like most other small non-Mexican restaurants who serve chips and salsa.
My wife had a Turkey Avocado sandwich with fries, and it was fine. I had a chicken fajita salad and it was good but pretty generic.
All in all, it's nice to have a new alternative in the neighborhood of Iliff and Buckley, especially a locally owned and operated non-franchise business. I'll update this review once we've had a couple of more experiences here -- especially breakfast (which seems to be their strong suit)!
