In my exploration quest, decided to check out this place briefly after work.
I walk in at 9:20 pm and they close around 10 pm that night.
The hostess/server was very nice and seated me at the sushi bar with a menu and took my drink order.
The sushi chef (Marcus) was friendly and we chatted throughout the evening about all sorts of things. I asked about a few different fish and he actually recommended to NOT order those, as they weren't the best they could be at that time. I tried a roll (don't recall their name for it, but it was spicy tuna and albacore) and also the yellowtail sushi on his recommendation. I like the way it was served: nigiri-zushi with a tiny piece of sashimi on top. Kinda different and nice.
It was nice and warm inside (this was during that cold spell we had in January), nice and quiet and clean. I guess it gets loud during sports games, but hopefully you can overlook that with enough drink and food.
Went back a second time and really liked it. The place was quiet (great thing!) and peaceful. Attentive service, had four sushi orders (seared albacore: nice and oily...mackerel: good taste...albacore: fresh...and salmon: pretty good).
They also have some great drink specials - go and check it out.......let's do some living!
Yup. Nice place, love the staff, good food......go!
