This place is kind of shady in business. They charge you a hidden 15% gratuity... also if you ask for water they give you bottled ($2) instead of glass (free)...
Our bill went from $58 to $77! There was also a paint smell upon entering and a burnt popcorn smell. They try to offer free one hr if you give a good review on yelp...therefore, some five star reviews for this place is not quite neutral. :-/
Besides those factors, they had a nice song selection and clean atmosphere.
overall, i won't recommend this place unless they get cheaper
Honestly, this place is hit or miss, and it's usually a miss, including this visit. First, they send you to a room and show you the button for waiter service. Well, apparently the button didn't work.
The bar experience is sub-par. When you go to the bar, the "bartender" asks some other guy for the drink list. There's one beer on tap (Coors - yuck) and 6 other beers. $5 for a CAN OF BUD LIGHT? No thanks, I'll pay the extra $1 for a Stella. When you go to pay with a credit card, that's when they conveniently tell you there's a $30 MINIMUM. First off, that's outrageous. Secondly, you're not allowed to have a minimum. If you can't afford the fees associated w/ a credit card, don't offer one!
1 star - free popcorn
1 star - good song library and it's fun
The other 3 stars haven't been earned yet. Sorry fellas, keep trying.
A group of friends and I were in the mood for some Karaoke this past weekend. A friend of mine who is more familiar with the area suggested Karaoke Christmas. Â Karaoke Christmas is located in a quiet residential neighborhood so it was hard to know what to expect. Â After entering Karaoke Christmas, I must say the decor and set up of the place is really nice. Â They have a good space so should you decide you do not want to karaoke or just want a little break in between songs, you can hang out by the bar or lounge area.
In regards to their karaoke though, great selection of songs!!! Another thing I loved about this place is their cleaniness!! The rooms are nicely set up and comfortable space for large groups - they also give you these cute mic covers to help prevent infecting germs from previous users of the mic. Â Even the restrooms are clean. Â The waitstaff is attentive and work quickly so you never have to wait long for them to come. Â
This place was not too crowded which for me was a plus because I felt like I was able to have a nice chillax night out with friends. Â I would certainly come back here and recommend this place. Â Plus their deals and prices are great. What more can you ask for! :)
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This place has horrible service and is way too expensive. Honestly if you are willing to drive an extra 10 mins to flushing main st there are so many better KTV places AND they're cheaper. I went on a Thursday night with 9 people. We tried to use the deal they had on groupon for $25 but they did not accept it due to whatever restrictions. Then when we got into the room we asked how the remote worked and she did not know. Then we realized the remote wasn't working (low on batteries?). This all took about 15 minutes. During this time the room was already counting down towards the hour we were spending there (there's a timer on the tv that lets you know how long you have been there). So that left us with 45 mins. The so called packages they offered was barely a deal. 7 people on one small bottle of goose and some cheap fruits would have costed us $298 bc we had additional people (I think it was $10 per extra person after the 7th person). 2 weeks later I went to another karaoke in flushing and the $298 got my friends and I (same 9 friends) 2 bottles plus finger foods! The people who work here do not even care about their customers, they sit around and talk to each other.. No wonder why this place was so quiet on a thursday night and they offer so many deals online! DISGRACE!
Review Source:This place was pretty empty for a weekend and now i know why. This place is way too expensive. There are better KTV places to go to. A bottle of black is 250, the money you pay per hour isn't carried over to your alcohol spending. I was there with a group of 10 people. For about 2 hours of karaoke and just 1 bottle of black, it came out to 450+
Review Source:This place is pretty expensive. When you get there, you spin a wheel to win prizes. They claimed our spin did not land on a prize, but on the line which meant no prize. The bartenders sucked and the drinks were awful. The room set up was awkward. The table configuration made it hard to dance or move around. I would not recommend this place. There are better karaoke places around.
