This bar tucked away in North Salt Lake is a real gem. Â This beer bar is a little hidden and is attached to a bowling alley. Â The Kegler has an old time feel with a cast of regulars that you will not forget once you visit. Â The Kegler has a couple pool tables, darts, dancing, and poker some nights. Â As a dive bar, the Kegler does not disappoint. Â They serve the classic beers and more craft beers from Utah breweries. Â They do not serve food, but you can get food in the bowling alley. Â The bathrooms are very clean which was a surprise. Â The staff is very friendly and will promptly serve you a brew. Â Sometimes we stop at the Kegler on a bike ride up to North Salt Lake. Â You should definitely stop in if you are in the area.
Review Source:The Kegler Lounge is one of the best kept secrets in North Salt Lake. For some reason or another, the Kegler was kept off the city weekly's coldest beer issue in 2011. But people who come here know that they serve one of the coldest beers in Utah (Yeah- I said it).
The Kegler is located next to the Orchard Lanes bowling alley and it has a unique entrance. Trust me - the first time I came here, I missed it. Â Look for the red brick wall to guide you in. Â The Kegler serves a classy selection of draught beers (Cutthroat, Shock Top, Bud Light, Amber Bock). They also serve cans and bottles.
Be advised this place does not serve any hard liquor, strictly frosty beers. The female bartenders are very nice and the regulars keep to themselves. Â There are three pool tables, darts games, a couple of arcades, a juke box, and a cool vending machine. Check it out for yourself, I wont spoil it.
