This place rocks. Came to watch NCAA games and met some great folks, ate good food, and drank good cold beers and all at a good price. Meeting the people was free!!
Just a good ol' bar. Nothing fancy but that's exactly what we wanted. TV with sound on for the games. Juke box during the breaks. Perfect for college ball lovers!
Matty is the best. Happy birthday to Mike.
Just across HWY 278 from Moss Creek Plantation is one of the best kept secrets in Bluffton's local dive bar scene. Although it is no secret, one would never stumble upon this tucked away Irish bar, as it is a few hundred yards up a dimly lit road, surrounded mainly with businesses that end their day at 5:00PM.
I personally feel as though the food here beats, hands down, all of the other bar food and also some other non bar food serving restaurants in the area. To make this bold statement, I am using a simple method of rational: The flavor of the food is number one, quality/freshness of the ingredients is number two and quantity is a distant third, even in this sports-ish bar environment, where huge portions seem to rule.
Everything I have eaten on the menu was all, really very very good from the salads, (not my preference with beer) to the fish (I think it was talapia) shrimp and the burgers, not to leave out great french fries and onion rings.
Since going to Kelly's I have not only been reading the salad's category portion of the menu, but starting to order from it, thanks to how good and filling the greens are here.
The wait staff is attentive and ready to serve with a smile, you will not be looking to and fro, for any particular need or request you may have.
I always found the people there, as to patrons, very friendly which lends itself to an overall enjoyable environment.
