Okay, for the record, I'm not one of those people that easily sends back food or drinks if it's something trivial like a spec in my water. Â That said, I was actually grossed out to find I was severed a drink in an unwashed mug. Â There was brown sticky spots all over the inside of my mug (my drink was blue). Â The worse part was I drank half my drink before I noticed because we were sitting out on the patio in the evening hours. Â However, the waitress was very empathetic and gave me a new drink no questions asked.
We also went on a night they had karaoke, and that's always a lot of fun. Â They had a great selection of songs to choose from.
The only other draw back to this place was that it stayed pretty empty the entire night despite it being a Friday.
All in all, this place is worth checking out on Karaoke night, but for the love of God, check your glass before you drink!
Stopped in for the first time a few nights ago, and had a really nice night here. The bar is spacious and can accommodate a lot of different interests - pool tables, dart boards, tables for floor seating, a long bar area, an outdoor patio, and a dance floor. There's plenty of TVs, so you always have a good view of the game.
This is a pretty casual, old-school bar without anything too fancy - but I say that in a good way. The prices are very reasonable, with a solid liquor and beer selection. They have weekly specials and entertainment on different nights of the week. I had a cheeseburger (I'm usually a little reluctant to try bar food until I'm more familiar with the establishment) and it was delicious - big, juicy, and fresh. The seating area and bathrooms were also very clean.
Overall, had a great time. The staff was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was enjoyable - I really dislike being in bars with a rude waitstaff or obnoxious customers. Thankfully, this place doesn't have either. I'd recommend it for anyone in the area looking for a fun night out without spending a fortune. I plan on revisiting the next time I am in the area.
Well here it is...I waited a long time to review this place and really decide how I felt about it. 2+ months into being a semi-regular I am not sure I'd recommend this place to anyone BUT I don't think I'll stop going nor would I tell you not to bother.
Pros: Clean Bathrooms, decent food, regular drink specials, and lots of flat screen TVs to watch games off of.
Cons: (This is really the only con but it's a big one to me) This place is a local bar privately owned...with the owner there regularly to help cook, serve and hang out with the patrons. So HOW can they justify being unfriendly to regular patrons? We always go in a large group and order food and drinks. But the waitress is pretty curt with us and nobody else other than her that works there ever speaks to us. Seriously?
Dear mister owner, we see you there every time we're there!
Let me be straight with you yelp: We're not supermodels BUT all of us shower regularly, comb our hair, and we almost never have stuff stuck in our teeth (if we do we promptly remove it) so what's their problem?!
Don't get me wrong I understand the value of a clean bathroom while eating and drinking at a local bar (seriously it's clean check it out when you get there) BUT c'mon! Give me a break! I mean, I don't think I'm going to Cheers or anything so I get he's no Ted Danson and I'm not quite as drunk as Norm so I don't expect anyone to excitedly cheer when I walk in. But a general "hello" would be nice.
Really reasonable yet well-mixed drinks, good food, darts, and prompt service.  Also have nightly specials (drinks and food) and have found the food to be good and also very reasonable.  Try and get there on a Wed. night to check out  their  house band, who play a set and than do a open-mike jam session. Also have a pretty good tv set-up if you want to catch a wings game, but you are not jammed in shoulder to shoulder like alot of sports bars.
I just plain recommend it.
