Well, starting off with the good... I loved the inside. Felt like a nice pub and I definitely enjoyed the atmosphere. Other than that...

I got the Pepper Jack with Roasted Serrano Pepper burger. I ordered a medium rare and apparently medium rare means well done at this place. I was also expecting something that seemed spicy to have a slight bit of spiciness to it but alas, I was disappointed here too. I got lucky, my fries were hot and delicious but my friend's fries were the old ones and were just not very good. The service was EXTREMELY SLOW.... I can't even emphasize that enough... slow!!!!!!! The only two redeeming qualities of this place was the decor and the fact the bartender poured strong drinks, that's the only reason they get two stars, although 1 1/2 is more appropriate. Not sure if they use frozen patties or not but they seriously need to cook them better and throw a lil salt and pepper on it so it's not so bland.

Was in tonight and was beyond disappointed. Management Drew handled what could have been a bad situation horrible. Had a great night in the bar with the normal bartenders who are always and have always been great. Was leaving the bar when I ran into my ex sis in laws sister, who apparently works there, who verbally attacked us after we were leaving the bar. She made it clear that she was pissed off that we even went in there knowing that she worked there. I seriously have been left speechless. I love going into killarneys and have always loved going in but after tonight And seeing how the management handled the situation I can't even believe it. At one point I tried to go back in to ask a friend to give us a ride home or call a cab and the freaken bouncer stopped me at the door as if I was going to start a riot inside. Im disgusted and embarrassed.

Wow!  going down hill fast!  Food and service are awful!   Was a fun place with great food and good service but has become terrible.  I filled out the "tell us what you think" on line with  what I thought was an informative and constructive review with a request to be contacted and got absolutely no reply.  What a shame!!

Bar seating is full, I want a couple beers, all "restaurant" seating has reserved mats on the tables, no place to sit.  Translation:  Buy some food with your beer, or get the hell out.  Enjoying a cold beer now at ANOTHER establishment.  Very bad business decision to ban folks from sitting at a table near the bar to have a beer when all bar seating is spoken for.  Have been happy with this place in the past, but now....not so much.  You call yourself a pub?  Seriously?  I suppose the profit margins on food must be better than on beer....time to rethink your focus then... Killarneys Restaurant maybe?

Came here a few months ago with a friend. We had great service and loved the beer selection. The food was fine, but not excellent. The overall experience was pleasant and not too pricey. Would definitely try it again.

Great place for a burger or beef dip. I am a burger fan and ever since Red Robin did away with their Five Alarm Burger I've been looking for a great burger. The Twisted Kilarney Burger is currently the best tasting hamburger out there. Thick great tasting beef with twisted onion straws, jalapeños, some kind of teriyaki sauce with a layer of pineapple salsa  makes my mouth water just thinking about it. My wife has got the beef dip and swears its the tenderest tasty dip around. We also had the cheesy fries and they were pretty good too, especially when you dip them in the blu-cheese dip. Service was decent and they have Dechutes Mirror Pond on tap. I have been here three times now and food has been perfect every time. Never been here at night or on St.Paddy's Day tough.

I really like this place...the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it's hard to get a drink on the weekends.  Otherwise, the live music is great, the food is great, and it's a nice place to go if you're single or married.

Went here today for their Tuesday All you can eat taco special. For 6 or 7 bucks you can get all the street tacos you can eat (choice of chicken, corned beef, or fish). The filling and tacos are okay, but they put this hefty amount coleslaw on that pretty much ruins it. The coleslaw is super moist/liquidity and also ice cold, which is just off putting when you want a warm taco. I understand these are not meant to be traditional mexican tacos, but honestly the execution of these is pretty poor. But they're cheap! I ate 20 of them anyway because I'm a glutton, which they informed me surpassed their house record by 7. I wasn't trying to eat a ton. I probably could've eaten 40 if I really tried (they are fairly small).

But the atmosphere is nice and looks like an authentic pub. The people were friendly and cool. Just the tacos were pretty meh. The rest of their menu though looks far more interesting and I bet better executed. I would give the food another chance and try some other stuff on the menu, just wouldn't recommend the street tacos.

Been here quite a few times, each came with a different experience although there are too many commonalities that make me not want to go back.  Instead of going through each experience, due to the length of what this review would end at, I will post my pretty precise pros and cons.

    Pros
    - Burgers are some of the best in the area
    - Can't go here and not at least try the Scotch Eggs
    - The main manager, John, is a swell guy (although I read they are under new management)

    Cons
    - Every waitress I've had is either rude, dumb, drunk, or slow as snail turd.  There has been one exception coming in on a Mon for an early dinner
    - Beer is overpriced
    - The clientele this place attracts on a Fri/Sat after 9p is some of the douchiest in the area
    - Dont even think about coming here for St. Paddy's day, organizationally a hot mess.

In conclusion, will only be back for early dinner burgers on a Mon.  Great food can really be forgotten by poor customer service and atmosphere.

Best potato chowder.  Perfect for a cold night.

Also they have started to offer some great craft beer with some great local flavor.  New beer each night.

I have been coming here since the day they opened. With the recent change in management and now the lack thereof, I am not going to be spending much time here. The service in the past week has been very poor. If you know the employees and the one who is no longer and employee you will know what I mean. It's sad and the truth is I am not the only one who feels this way.  The ownership truly needs to take a look at the reason why they first opened Killarney's and appreciate those who got them to this point.

Killarney's is a nice hangout for the Temecula area. They have a nice bar and plenty of seating. The outdoor patio is a great spot to enjoy your drink and socialize with your party. They also have a small dance floor area. I've heard that the live music is great, I've never been there on those nights. The prices are fair for a bar.

Normally if I want to go to a pub in Temecula, I'll go to Barley & Hops. However, we wanted to get in on some Happy Hour specials and Killarney's happy hour lasts 30 mins longer than Barley's.

We came in and decided to sit outside on the patio since it was a nice day. We went in and told the waitress we were out there--good thing we did, she didn't see us. No big. I have to say, the waitress could have been more attentive, but she did OK.

The draft selection here is pretty limited. I was surprised they didn't have Killian's Irish Red on tap, only Smithwick's (no thanks) so I ended up getting Newcastle. We also ordered onion rings, which were mostly batter.

The place isn't bad and I know a lot of people like it; I just haven't found much to like about it yet. There's nothing special about it that makes it worth going to. Given a choice I would probably choose barley & hops, they have a wider draft selection.

    3.5 stars.

I always sit at the bar, so I have not hat the bad service problems that others have mentioned.  I LOVE the cozy atmosphere here.  The gorgeous wooden bar and the stone, brick, and dark wood interior.

I always seem to have a good time here. Either the quiet afternoons playing Buzztime trivia or staying until night time and the band starts and the people pour in and it gets loud and drunken. And it is an INTERESTING crowd. But always friendly.

Food has been hit and miss. I really loved the Vegetable Irish Boxty. Like a potato crepe with a nice gravy. One of my faves.

Guinness stew and Shepherds pie were fine. I am not a fan of these, but my friend really liked it.

Spinach Artichoke Dip was really good. I normally don't like this in restaurants. It always has a plastic taste, but this was good. It also comes with a cheese sauce dip, which I hate, but this was really nice with actual sharp cheddar in it so it was like a fondue than a fake cheese sauce. And some garlic toasts and chips for dipping.

The Killarney burger COULD have been good. But I asked for medium rare and it came medium well. Ugh. Best way to ruin a burger. It was even too dry at this point for the meat lover accompanying me to enjoy it.

The cajun pasta was too oily.  Leftovers were better at home after thinning out the oily sauce or adding extra veggies to proportion the oil better.

They have a special burger monday with $5 burgers and Recession Sunday special that includes an appetizer and two entrees for $19.99.

So for the most part, I have liked the food.  And I always enjoy the whiskey and buzztime trivia.

DO NOT be fooled by their Taco Tuesday deal. Should have known better for myself than to go to a pseudo Irish place and think the tacos would be any good.

Fish was heavily breaded in the fish taco. Husband had the chicken tacos and were barely edible.

Only reason this place receives higher marks is that after ordering the chicken tacos (although cheap) he ordered a turkey sandwich which was much better.

    Service = jusk ok
Prices = too much for what you're getting
Crowd = the usual in the IE

p.s. it also smells a little strange in there. Just sayin'.

The food was AWESOME!! it came out quick and it was DELICIOUS!!
The music, food and the company was the only thing I enjoyed that night ;)

Stopped in here after doing some wine tastings... for dinner.

I had the corned beef tacos, and they were delicious!

One friend had the Kilarney burger and she said it was delicious as well.  Another friend had the potato skins and she really liked them.  The last of our group ordered the shepherds pie... and she said it was not good, but it was not what any of us were expecting.  It looked like a pancake patty omelette... very strange.  They exchanged it for a burger for her which was really nice.

I had the house cabernet, and it was good :)

Service was good, they were not busy and it was a great place to stop and have dinner :)

I liked the food. The happy hour prices are great. But why must I be forced to put another sucky customer service experience on blast?!

We were a party of 20, so our server was overwhelmed.  I get it.  I was a server, too.  That comes with the territory.  What I don't get is how I was made to feel like we were skipping out on one of our checks--the check that [I] brought to her attention.  Although there were 20 of us, the servers conveniently split the bill by tables, that way it was easy for us to break it down.  My table's check was covered by one credit card to make things easier.  After it was paid, and assumed that all was good, my classmates at my table left, while I stayed behind with a few others in our party.

After all the dishes were cleared, one check was left at the table.  It was a duplicate of the one we had already paid.  When I brought it to my server's attention that we had already paid that bill, she said tactlessly "Well, no because it's still showing up as a bill I still have to close. So no, it hasn't been paid."  I suggested looking to see if it was duplicate copy and even offered the name of the card it was under.  Reluctantly, she said she could, but really, she didn't want to.  I waited around with my friends, and when she came back, she rudely implied our dishonesty by claiming, "You know, at this point I'm fried. I don't care if it was paid for or not, just forget about it."  It's one thing to admit to your careless mistake, and it's another to make a customer feel like a liar.  I really resent that.

It's too bad because we could have brought a lot of business to this establishment.  Now, we're going to have to find another bar to take our money without the side order of guilt.

Better attention to detail and this place would be Much busier and a 5.  Last time I got the pretzel logs the cheese sauce wasnt even warmed up. Come on people... care about what you are doing!  It shows and more people will come. You have a great base here that you could make a much bigger success by caring for each customer more. Overall I will be back because I do like it, but most people I think would not rush back if
they got the casual lack of detail I have experienced.

Great beers and usually good food too.

Amazing street tacos that are a dollar during happy hour which is 7 days a week! Drinks were good too, this place definitely doesn't skimp on the alcohol :D

I would come here again for the yummy food and the drinks, but I would sit further away from the bar....too many drunk people dancing around next to their tables, making fools of themselves (not causing problems, just being retarded).

Having enjoyed many a late afternoon lunch, that at times can turn into dinner and drinks with friends I can only say I and my hubby have never had a bad meal or drink for that matter here at Killarney's.

I could be bribed with Irish car bombs to sing Karaoke-- however that feat has never been achieved, because you see I am Irish and hold my drink! HA!

Lets talk food-- two words and two words alone can make me drop everything and head to Killarney's "Muckross Cake" how its made is a mystery I do not want to know but its is heaven on a plate and with ice creme simply sinful, yes I am having a moment. Chocolate cake, Irish creme and ice creme.. sigh.....

So I have had and shared pub tacos, salmon, prime rib and the many variations of pot pies, bangers and mash, and the boxtys both meals and desserts.. cinnamon apple especially.

Besides the really great service we have always experienced even on crowded Fri/Sat nights rain or not, and with our group which can be 2-20 depending on who is already there when we walk in or joins us if we are there the tabs can be separated without issue, drinks are refilled and never taken away without asking first it is indeed good times for all..

I am sure people can have a bad experience at a restaurant goodness knows I have but having been here many times over the last 5 years, I have never had 1 unhappy visit when it comes to my food and drink....

Now why not 5 stars? simply because sometimes the crowd can have "new drinkers the just 21 crowd" who really lose social graces or have never had any pounded into them by their parents or maybe they just don't give a flying monkey---- and with a few glasses of liquid courage in them, they think they can runamuck! In retrospect many places can have this situation, I just think the bouncers here at Killarny's should take a little bit more of a stronger attitude on this instead of being a buddy. Just sayin' it isn't going to stop me from continuing my love of Killarny's.

I am changing my review to 3 stars because I like beer.

The only reason I am giving two stars is because I like the decor. I have been here two times and both times were extremely disappointing when it came to the food.

    Sliders - bland

Onion rings - imagine a crusty sponge dipped in grease. They use the same batter as for the fish and they taste a little fishy and are more like an onion grease donut. (My husband vomited when we got home)

Sausage wrapped in pastry - good but we tried the whiskey sauce and the gravy. Gravy tasted like instant powdered gravy and whiskey sauce tasted like thick bland Alfredo sauce.

Fish taco - I liked it and was probably the best thing I had

Chicken sandwich - came without avocado so we were gipped on that. Chicken was tough and had some burnt pieces on it. Not like the chicken was burnt but that it was cooked on a plancha grill that hadn't been cleaned and the old burnt  food on it was stuck to the chicken. I am guessing the chicken was precooked a day or two before and then warmed on the grill?

After finishing writing this I have decided to give them one star. The food is just abhorrent.

My Irish hubby is a total slut for all things pub. He dragged me here and said he would give it 6 stars. Me: only half that. The waitresses (we had a shift change) were straight bitchy and rude, not at all pleased to be there. Maybe they hated each other because the girl coming on knew the girl leaving would be just bitchy enough to customers in the handoff to screw her out of tips.....again!

Anyway, cerveza is not my thing, and the stronger the flavor the less it is my thing. They were changing kegs and only had porter(?) on tap. This is dark like Guiness (sp?), so I had one sip of that ashtray juice and stopped. BTW, could it get any louder in there? Not an overwhelmed fan, though the homemade chips were really great.

After stopping by a few wineries, we thought it might be a good idea to get something to eat and the first place that came to mind was Killarney's. I've been a few times, so I thought it would be a good idea to write about it finally.

We came in from the pouring rain and were greeted and quickly seated.  Our waitress gave us a few minutes to check over the menu so we decided on trying something from the "Recession Sunday" menu.  Share an appetizer and dessert and get 2 entree's for $19.99. Pretty great deal if you ask me. Of course with savings like that, we had to grab a beer as well. So we got one Hanger 24 and one Guinness. It worked.

For the appetizer we got loaded chips which were quite tasty. Huge fries covered in bacon and cheddar cheese with ranch and sour cream on the side. I'm not sure if I was starving or they fries were that good, but we finished them off quickly.

For the entrees we got shepherd's pie and a shepherd's boxty. They both contained ground beef, with peas and a wonderful, rich brown gravy. The meat was perfectly seasoned, and cooked the way I like it. The pie came with mashed potatoes on top, and the boxty was more like a potato pancake with the previously mentioned filling inside. Both were amazing.

For dessert we decided to go with the chocolate cake that had a nice caramel sauce mixed in with whip cream and hint of Irish cream. Great way to finish a wonderful meal.

I have to say this not a place if you're in a hurry but if you feel like grabbing a pint and sharing a good conversation over some tasty food, then this a good place to try.

Went here to celebrate a friends Birthday and move to California. It was a little slow when we first got there, but things picked up. The drinks were good and they had a nice variety of beer on tap to choose from. The wings are fabulous, but the quesadilla is just okay.
They had a live band the night we went, and they were really good. They played a nice mix of rock.
My one complaint is that the bartenders seem to get to talking to the regulars and it was difficult at times to get their attention.

Booze: It's fairly priced, but they have a wide selection and include Guinness on tap, which is absolutely saintly.  Also, if you're a girl, push up the twins a bit and prey on the dudes in this place.  Something in the air makes them buy any broad drinks.  Use it to your advantage.

Food:  I've only ever eaten it drunk, which means it tastes amazing.  But so does Del Taco at 4 am.

Service: Some of the bartenders are great, some, not so great.  The servers can be twits.

Also, get out of there before 1 am before the entire Temecula PD shows up.

Very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at this place late on a Sunday night. We pulled over around 8:30 on the way back from a long, tiring day trip and I had low expectations (may have even groaned quietly when the decision was made to stop at an Irish Pub - was hoping to have a light/healthy dinner). The menu was pretty diverse and I ended up getting a chicken wrap and the rest of my party got more traditional Irish fare.

My wrap was absolutely delicious! Chicken, nice lettuce (better than iceberg), mushrooms, and a balsamic vinagerette, all in a wheat wrap. I could eat it everyday. I was very impressed, as was everyone else (we sampled the shepard's pie, Guinness stew, and bangers and mash). The Guinness stew was a standout - yummmmy!

As we were finishing up, they started up karaoke and we got to hear some surprisingly good performances! We noticed a cowboy who had been hanging out by himself since we got there spring up to do a great rendition of the country (new) classic "What Was I Thinking?". Seems like it would be a fun place for a group on a Sunday night. If I'm ever in this neck of the woods, I'd come back.

    "Your local Irish Pub"

There aren't that many bars in Temecula that have that "Cheers" Vibe. You know, the place where "everyone knows your name?" But Killarneys has this nice friendly atmosphere that has the locals and the newbies mixing it up in conversation. If you like to talk to people over a pitcher of beer, then this is the spot!!!

Fridays and Saturdays are their busiest nights with local bands playing and Dj's spinning. If you don't like the hustle and bustle of the crowd then I would suggest you go on Sunday (Karaoke Night!!!) or during the week. Killarneys has a nice outside patio with giant heaters for the smokers and for those who prefer to be outside away from the tight nit crowd.

The appetizers and drinks are a bit tad pricey for a dive bar ($5-$8 a drink/shot and $6-$10 for apps). But you mainly pay for the friendly atmosphere and the easy going company. It's not uncommon for you or anyone to just start up a convo while waiting for your drink. The regulars already know each other and they're always dying to meet new peeps.

    Avg Age:21-40
    Age bar tab pp:Minimum $30
    Girl to Guy ratio:2-3

If you're a Guy, then there's lots of other guys there to converse with. If you're a Woman, then get your wing woman ready and put your wallet away because you'll sure to get free drinks if you know how to play your cards right!!!!

A great choice for the evening and having a few drinks with your friends, in the true tradition of any good pub.

In the sleepy town of Temecula I noticed that there aren't very many places to eat beyond the typical chain restaurant.  I couldn't find too many small-businesses to have a nice sit-down dinner. Thank you Yelp, for noticing this casual Irish pub!  Killarney's seems to be the place where locals congregate.  There's a patio, a restaurant, a bar, and even a small stage where the live music kicked in around 9pm.

There are some traditional Irish items on the menu, so if you want some bangers and mash it's here...or you can play it safe and get a cheeseburger.  I took a chance and ordered the grilled salmon.  I was completely surprised when the most beautiful piece of perfectly grilled salmon arrived at my table.  It wasn't over cooked; it was so juicy, tasty, and perfect in every way. I would drive back just to have it once more.

Special thanks to our lovely waitress Lisa who noticed we were trying to plan our wine tasting for the next day.  She told us she also worked at a local winery and asked if she could offer some recommendations.  She took my map and later brought it back with all of her top picks, including a few that were not listed.  Her choices did not disappoint!

This place is never boring.   As far as a cool hang out place with a great bar and authentic ambiance, this is the place.  But the food was not so great, so i'm give them 4 stars.  The battered mushrooms were just average.  I should have ordered something else, but i'm not the type to complain or send food back.  But then again, i don't eat meat so don't judge the place by their veggies or veg-friendly faire.

I recommend the Shamrock Martini and for the guys, they have a good selection of Irish beers on draft.  My date had the Smithwicks and said it was great.  They also have live bands on the weekends so after a few drinks you forget you're in a strip mall in Temecula!

The crowd here is HIlarious. Seriously. Never saw a happier bunch of suburban white young people more enthusiastic to sing Bruce Springsteen.

There was a bartender, a brunette, some exotic woman; SHE WAS SO GORGEOUS. God, she made me feel ashamed of how un-gorgeous I am, and I wanted to marry her, then and there!

Anyways, the beer and the shots are way cheaper than they are at OC and LA bars, and this place gets 4 stars for that.

    Good corned beef and cabbage
Lots of booze from the land of FOG, The IRA, and PEAT BOGS!
A tad bit on the pricey side.

I love me a good Irish pub, and Killarney's fits the bill when I can't get down to San Diego and hoist a pint.

The bartenders know how to pour a Guiness, and in my book, that's litmus test #1.

The prices are reasonable, and the food is good for a place that is more bar than restaurant.

It's absolutely crazy in there on St. Patrick's Day.  We go early and stake our claim inside, near the bar.  Find a waitress and give her $20 to check on you whenever she walks by.  You'll be setup for the whole evening.

Killarney's draws a good mixed crowd, and everyone is having fun.  It's not a meat market, but you'll have no problem meeting someone new.

    I was so disappointed.  I love Pubs they are usually friendly fun places to go.  But this place looked like a cheap chain, an imitation of the real thing.  let me lay out what happened;
1:00 Arrived and were seated Requested that the TV be turned on and they put on football
1:15 Had to get our own drinks
1:20 football game turned to golf
1:30 they finally put game back on we are graced with a waitress to take our order
1:40 a couple is seated near by us
1:45 they have their drinks and their order taken
1:45 back to the bar for a new beer
2:05 couple at the next table receives their meal
2:06 ask a waitress to check on our meal
    2:15 still no answer
2:16 we ask for our bill and to cancel the food.
the manager did not comp the 3 beers we consumed.
the waitress was offended when we refused the meal while we were waiting for the bill.

It was amazing we were very patient .  so as far as the food goes couldn't tell you. But the Guinness was served too cold

If you love a good beer this is the place to go. I recommend the Harp Lager my personal favorite. The atmosphere is great and service spot-on but skip a full meal and order appetizers and a bowl of the Potato Chowder which comes with excellent brown bread (ask for extra). Every dish I've ordered (Shephard's Pie, Beef Stew, Boxty) is over salted (almost to the point of inedible... note to Killarney's chef: put down the shaker). So get a group of friends together order some
beers and apps and then go eat dinner somewhere else. Better yet if you have enough beers you won't even need dinner.

The bar from Killarney was actually shipped in from Ireland. At least that is what the owner told,me the look of the bar definitely  reminds me the pubs I saw in Ireland. There are plenty of cute nooks and cranny's throughout the eatery.

Killarney's is one of the most popular destinations for young people to go to in Temecula. The place gets helluva crowd on weekends.

Although a lot of people come out for Killarney's bar, the restaurant has a few noteworthy items on the menu. I usually get the chicken sandwich because it comes with lettuce tomato and avocado and it is goo-ood, so is the chicken cesar salad. I also recommend the cheesecake for dessert.

Of course, the Irish coffee drinks are super delis. I even tasted one with Godiva chocolate and it was yummy.

But Killarney's is worth checking out because it is Temecula hotspot and there aren't many of those.
