5 stars!!! Walked into this place on a Sunday afternoon in Oct. and i was shocked to say the least. There were about 250 mexicans drinking beer, crushing tacos and all wearing Pittsburgh Steelers jerseys watching the Steelers game having  blast. I'm not a Steelers fan but, i have to say it was awesome! They have Sunday Ticket so all NFL games were on. Great food and awesome place to watch a ballgame. Their salsa's are all excellent they have several to choose from. In fact we ate there several times while visiting El Paso and everything we tried was great.
Review Source:love the bar - the actual bar itself. Â fantastic vintage bar with large leather elbow space. Â i like the old feeling, but he crowd keeps this at a 3 star. Â i'm not really one to be kicking it with 50-60 year old bikers and the crowd was a little skeezy for me. Â one thing that sort of put me out was that i called ahead to ask if they had a certain channel so i could watch a certain basketball game. Â they told me yes. Â lo and behold... Â they didn't. Â just sort of rubs me the wrong way. Â you could have the courtesy to actually CHECK before blowing smoke up my ass. Â
i might come back, just for the bar and the close proximity to my domicile.
As dive bars go, this one is alright. Â I just went back after it reopened and have to say I think it has improved. Â At least the waitress was cute and friendly and not a bruiser like the previous ones.
They have lots of TVs with all the football you can eat. Â Beware of the obnoxious Steeler fans.
Beer is very cold and the burgers from next door Lucy's make for good bar fare.
UPDATE: on a recent visit i could not help noticing the terrible smell which may come from the carpeting. Â note to the owner: please consider replacing the carpet. it's only going to get worse
Went in here to check out the place after being told it was a Steeler bar. Â Website shows a bunch of Steeler stuff, but when I visited in August 2009, there was only one piece of signage up. Â So if you are going for a game, just be aware that it isn't heavily decorated like most Steeler bars.
Other than that seemed like your average dive bar, was busy the Saturday afternoon we stopped in. Â I would likely go back if I was in the area, but not sure I would make a trip there solely for the purpose to hang out. Â It had a locals hang out vibe to it, and seemed pretty low key but I have my own local dive that is closer.
Ok, so your looking for some fun and you want to know where you can let your hair down?
Look no further.  Here you will find a friendly crowd, attentive staff and when you want to rock & roll check the schedule for when the band  F-BOMB is playing so that you know your evening will be complete.
Teddy the owner is an awesome guy who really knows how to run a class "A" joint! Â He's a hell of a guy !
Cheers!
