  love grabbing an order of avocado rolls from here. and the (birch?) tree decor thingy made for a dope shot once i filtered it. service is on point also.

  Great steak but way too pricey! Hit the $300 mark with just 6 guests :/ sticking with Yama across the street. But, if you have a good price range, they're a great Japanese Steakhouse!

  Pretty good. Grilled tuna in shiso leaf is excellent. Menu is limited and somewhat expensive, but service was attentive.
  
  Sushi was decent and its a BYO, which makes it even better.

  Tried something new instead of Yama and was pleasantly pleased :) it's byob with a liquor store next to the restaurant (talk about convenient!). The rolls are a little pricey but they were delicious. We had a great time with really good food.

  We've been multiple times, and have always had excellent sushi and terrific service. The one time we strayed from sushi to the more "continental" options we found the food OK, but not memorable (I can relate to the another reviewer''s bemusement with the potato cake), so stick with the raw fish--you won't be disappointed.

  This place is EXCELLENT! Well prepared and executed sushi, The have a variety of continentally prepared steak, seafood (not hibachi!) and sushi, The Filet Mignon Spring Roll was super, the salad I had was a vinaigrette with ginger, definitely a deviation from the classic Japanese ginger root and orange dressing you get at most Sushi joints. Can't wait to go there again! I also tried the Pan Seared Chilean Sea Bass, the bokchoy that accompanied it was tasty, the potato cake was a little odd, kind of like a stale knish, I would prefer the garlic smashed (that accompanies the Grilled Sirloin) in the future.
