The Knights Pub

Don't let the cheesy giant knight statue at the entrance fool you - this bar is actually really cool. The main bar/dining area is huge with soaring ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows looking out on to the grass and fire-pit patio.

Do yourself a favor and take your drink outside to the fire pit area! This is a unique space perfect for a day with nice weather. Even if it's on the cold side, the gas fire actually gives off a lot of warmth. If you have kids, they can burn off energy on the grassy area just beyond the patio.

Inside, the bar area has TV's playing sports. There were a mix of families and couples eating in the restaurant, and a big range of ages, from 20-somethings up to retirees (this was on the early side of dinner time on a Saturday). There was a wedding going on next door in their event space.

Yes, the menu is expensive, and if it weren't for that, Knight's Pub would be five stars. We just ordered sandwiches and soups for dinner, which was plenty filling and cheaper than ordering from the entree section of the menu. It does seem silly to have a pretty casual environment with such an expensive entree menu, but the menu is big enough that there are plenty of lower priced options to choose from.

Champagne scallop soup - really tasty, but very rich. Order a cup because a bowl is too much richness to comfortably eat.
Black & Blue burger - good, standard.

Service at both the bar and table were attentive, and our waitress was especially outgoing and friendly, and wiling to give recommendations on the menu.
