Captain's Cove Restaurant and Bar

Eaten there a few times recently and was very pleased.  Food was prepared beautifully and also in a healthy manner(not swimming in butter).  Got the same server every time and he was very helpful.  Loved the baked acorn squash it was delicious!

Wonderful, large out door area and a really fun, engaging environment.

We were only here for some late night beers, but I want to return on my next trip to the area.
The severs were kidding around with us, which is always a plus to me.

The beer selection is average, but considering we do not have Yuengling where I live, I was very happy to have a couple pitchers at Captain's Cove.

We had a special dinner here about a month ago. As other reviewers stated, it is essentially two restaurants in one. We were having a more formal dinner so we ate inside. The food was excellent, and that is the only reason I gave this two stars. The atmosphere was horrible. First of al, despite making reservations well in advance, when we arrived the hostess told us that our party of five had to crowd around a table for four. (huh??) Then as the meal continued, the decibel level in the room became increasingly louder to the point where talking was impossible. There is nothing in the room to absorb sound. We ate the balance of our meal either without talking for occasionally shouting at the top of our lungs. We will not eat here again.
