We had the hibachi special this time. Â It was ok. Â I got the steak and ordered shrimp extra. Â The shrimp was pretty bland and I would not recommend it. Â The steak was pretty good, some of the pieces were a bit tough but others were great. Â I loved the veggies, wish there were more instead of tons of rice. Â Get the salad with ginger dressing, yum. Â They have the best miso soup of anywhere I have tried. Â The chef was pretty funny and our server was extremely attentive.
Review Source:If I have the option, I would give Negative 5 stars review for this terrible restaurant. I ordered Rack of Lamb to be cooked medium. What I got is 4 pieces of fully cooked and shrunk to 1/3 of it's original size lamb hanging on the bone. The teriyaki sauce topped the lamb is just like a syrup and nothing else. The quality of the meat is worse than what you can get from the flea market. Don't waste your money at this place.
Review Source:They have a happy hour. Â Bar has a DJ and a few TV's, will likely watch some football there if they have it on this football season coming up. Â
What's up with smoking  in bars in the Valley?  That definitely sucks.
Sushi was solid. Â Had a few rolls, rainbow, spicy tuna and some tempora roll. Â There does seem to be an inordinate amount of cream cheese in the rolls down here? Â Oh well.
The hibachi part looked nice, will likely check it out at some point as well.
I would check it out again. Â Its next to Golds gym and a movie theater too, so good after work out or pre movie food.
Returned a couple of times since my initial review, and will upgrade to 4 stars.wonder if the owners /chefs read patrons' reviews: because the food looks amazing: the presentations are colorful, innovative and edgy, and very yummy. The service is primarily efficient and friendly.
I won't be able to bestow 5 stars, as I absolutely dislike being stuck in a restaurant where hibachi smoke and smells float all around, permeating your hair and clothes with the odor of burned oil. I succumbed to my peers' preference to sit in the hibachi area, and did not enjoy my dinner at all, given the stiff performance of the chef, overwhelming smells, and having to bear the steam and cleaning of the cooking surface, while Ttempting to enjoy my (non hibachi) dinner. Â Glad though that they enjoyed their selections. My Tempura got cold by the time the chef finished his tricks.
Mmmmm. Really really good sushi, and although I didn't get to try the hibachi I could see them and the guys doing it were fun, entertaining and it smelled great.
I was there for sushi though and I was so impressed by the sheer variety they have, and the quality of the food. We tried so many different kinds but I think my favorite was probably the Spicy Mama and the Angry Dragon. There were others that were yummy too, basically read the description and be adventurous!
Only real problems we had was being ignored by the waitstaff sometimes, but we were enjoying the food so much we didn't mind.
