A little torn on how to review this place--while the food is always at least decent, and often very good, the service is extremely inconsistent.
House salad is super yummy--love the berry vinaigrette (or whatever it is). Entrees are usually tasty, portions plentiful, but sometimes overpriced. The pizza is usually really good, although usually with a strangely greasy crust. It's yummy, if you don't think about it too much!
Service is all over the place--we've never had anyone treat us particularly rudely, but on any given day be anything between indifferent and painfully slow to extremely friendly and well timed. It doesn't seem to matter how many other people are in the restaurant, or what time of day you go.
Pretty decent pizza, and what a bargain at $5 for a large cheese pie - okay, really $7 because they make you buy a 20oz soda, but still a great deal.
The pizza is very thin, which I suppose is necessary to maintain a profitable margin when you're only charging $5 a pie, but I actually appreciate this because a normal slice of New York Pizza has about 400 calories per slice, whereas I doubt these slices have more than 320 calories per slice. Â That's perfect for me since I like to guard my girlish figure.
Their $4 meatball, chicken parmigiana, or eggplant  subs (~$6 after mandatory soda purchase) are also very tasty and make for a good "lazy lunch" when you dont feel like making something.
Bless this place and the values it holds for a culture that has a lost appreciation for traditional fine dining, service, ambience, and of course the food. I am not going to comment on the food or write a page long review because there is nothing to say everything at this restaurant speaks for itself. Everything is of top quality seasoned and cooked to perfection. Service that is at your beckon call to answer questions or make suggestions. Â Get in your car bring a friend, family member or partner and get in here for lunch. The Chefs knowledge of cuisine extends far beyond the traditional mediterranean story book menu. Call ahead plan a party there is few if any places left like this who put such a high importance on being accommodating
