La Fontana Authentic Italian Restaurant Bar & Pizzeria

I'm going to preface this and give benefit of the doubt as a bad day overall and re-evaluate the next time I'm in the mood for Italian.

Hostess 3/5 - seemed new and overwhelmed though we were the only party that was waiting (4 of us). Told us would be a wait without taking our name, down then another gentleman came up took our name said would be about 30 min to be sat. Okay great, 5 minutes later we are sat.

Service 2/5 - This is where the experience really lacked, waiter seemed stiff and indifferent to our party. Labeled us by numbers which is okay I get how a table system works with seats. Though with being served and presented checks he had to ask individually wheat we ordered before dropping either so meh. Also, big for me is my drink being filled or at lest asked if I wanted it filled...which didn't happen till after I finished eating..one glass of water isn't sufficient!

Food 4/5 - Definitely above average for the area. I enjoyed my veal Parmesan, and sampled the pizza, lasagna and sausage dish and all were exemplary.

Overall 3/5 - Not bad not great, worth trying out again. Just have to hope service is on their game next time.

This place is great! I was first introduced when they catered my rehearsal dinner (which was amazing!) We have since been back several times. The pizza is the best in the area, and the pasta is mmmm. I have loved everything I ordered. The atmosphere is intimate and a little dark, but it doesn't feel stuffy because the attitude of the staff is so light hearted. They remember us whenever we go in. It's the kind of place you feel becomes "yours" after a few times.  I would highly recommend!

Cute place the people were nice but I got so SICK after eating there on Saturday.
